With the Champions League nearing its climax and British teams still very much in the mix, we’ve gone back to our friends at TotelFootball to sort a fantastic deal for Fantasy Football Scout visitors. The top three in our league will also be given free FFS memberships for the 2013-14 season and there are weekly prizes per round of free bets for the top three managers.

The FFS Private Pool – How Does It Work?

The Main Pool Game – Free Bet Offer

TotelFootball have given every FFScout signup a free £10 bet – this will allow you to test your management skills against the best managers in the main pool, without risk. This means you can participate in the free FFS Private Pool and also chance your arm in the Main Pool. Your selected team can be entered for both simultaneously.

Once you have your team Champions League squad chosen, you then place your stake money for the Main Pool. The amount of stake you invest affects the amount of winnings you claim should your team be amongst the to 10% in the final rankings.

The stake money put in by all the managers entered will create the prize pot.

Your team will accumulate prize points depending on how high up you finish in the final rankings.

1st – 100 points per £1 stake invested
2nd -5th – 20 points per £1 stake invested
6th-10th 10 points per £1 stake invested
11th-20th 5 points per £1 stake invested
21st-40th – 3 points per £1 stake invested
41st – Remaining entries – 2 points per £1 stake invested

The prize pool is then divided by the total points collected by the winning managers to discover the dividend paid out per point. Each winning manager will then be paid out the per point dividend x total points accumulated.

For example:
A total prize pool is £25,000 with a total of 5,000 points accumulated by all winning managers. This will result in a payout per point of £5.00.

Payout scenarios:
You finish 1st having invested £1 on team entry, your payout will be £500.
You finish 1st having invested £10 on team entry, your payout will be £5,000.
You finish 4th having invested £10 on team entry, your payout will be £1,000.
You finish 36th having invested £100 on team entry, your payout will be £1,500.

In addition to the free £10 bet, if you sign up a new account with TotelFootball today, they will match your initial deposit up to £100.

We’ll be publishing a Champions League player picks article tomorrow, focusing on our tips for this round of TotelFootball.

Finally a reminder that TotelFootball is only available to those aged over 18 and over and, if you’re going to take up this offer and play, please gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Front 2 to go with Robin??

    1: Suarez, Lambert
    2: Aguero, Sturridge

Every time I write it down, option 2 looks better but I'm still leaning towards option 1... why???

United supporters, where do you think the team could improve? (i.e. which transfers do you think would be beneficial to the team)

I'm not a United supporter, but from a neutral standpoint I think a new CM and CB is needed. I think Rio, Anderson and Nani need to go during the summer. Someone like Wanyama or Fellaini in midfield, with maybe Hummels or Pique at CB.

I could be wrong here but it's always been my impression that Man Utd don't normally tend to go for your typical kind of DMs. The likes of Scholes, Carrick, Cleverley, they're all defensive-ish but not really defined by it...

Only need a new CB when one of Vidic/Rio leaves. They've both fantastic at times this season, and with Smalling and Evans, i think CB is low in the priorities. Definitely a Ball winning CM though imo, someone with energy. A new winger too, with Nani and Valencia horribly out of form, and not looking like getting back to their best any time soon.

Also not a Man U fan but gonna comment anyways.

If they're gonna buy, they need to buy top quality players, buying the likes of Wanyama ain't gonna improve the squad, would be like City buying Sinclair and Rodwell.

If I was a Man U fan, I'd want them to retain most of the current squad and spend their entire budget on one CM, even if it costs them 30m.

Therein lies Nani ability. If he's consistent, this boy is an absolute beast. Really fond of him, hope we keep him...

Yep. PR has a lot of say. Hence no comments on that matter..

Believe it or not, i think Ronnie's perceived arrogance (Bad PR) is one of the reasons people tend to 'like' Messi more..

Has nothing to do with my perceptions of them as footballers, but to be fair, Messi's pretty humble in comparison to most footballers, where as Ronaldo's a ****

Hardly in my opinion. His ambition comes out that way. The diving and whining, i get, but i think its more of his competitiveness. He's the first on the training pitch and the last to step out. Seen a lot of interviews where players have mentioned he is the hardest trainer in the team. Also, Ronnie's story is great too, coming from nowhere. Also, Ronnie does a lot of charity work and gives a lot back to society.
