Wednesday’s midweek matches push the ScoutCast back 24-hours, offering you a Crackerjack style Friday afternoon “treat”. Granville and I could certainly “crush a grape” after reaping the rewards from the Robin Van Persie captaincy and we can’t help allowing our smugness to seep through on several occasions, as we take the opportunity to mock both the Professor and Jonty on the recent failings of Wayne Rooney. Small victories.

Those two characters crash the party to bring us the latest forecast from the Rate My Team computer as part of our weekend preview, while Jonty brings us another “fortunate” member of the community to suffer the usual brand of “Full Jonty” analysis. The familiar smattering of regulars glue it all together, as we keep the momentum going with the finishing line now in sight.

    southampon are a funny team lately (trying to work out michu's prospects). they've limited man city, liverpool, chelsea, man utd and everton to a combined 5 goals since pochettino took over, combined with 2 clean sheets in their last 2 away games. yet mixed in with that was the 1-2 loss home to QPR and 2 far dodgier away games shippng 2 at wigan and 4 at newcastle.

    conclusion: no idea

      Had Dawson for 5 odd gw's or so, only got 0's and 1's out of him.. I'd say spurs ship at best a CS in their DGW.

    I think if I had the cash for a straight Caz to Bale swap I'd be tempted to do it. As it is, it requires -4, Bale will still be 10.5 when I come to buy him and the fixtures turn for the DGW teams next week. Waiting seems the best option

      If your a radical islamist, why would you blow up a marathon? Go for the something more disruptive like a baseball stadium or transport network. Looks like an internal thing to me.

        I don't think you could discount extremism on the basis that they targeted a marathon and not a baseball game? A baseball stadium would have tighter and more specific security getting in and out the stadium compared to a 26 mile stretch of a large City. Blowing up innocent civilians in a predominantly white City could easily be motivated by islamic extremism.

    I hadn't noticed this,due to crapness of the rest of my points, and not owning him BUT

    why did Diame not get all bps against united??? He was bloody amazing. Valencia was ok, but nowhere near him. RVP scored an offside equaliser. I can't see how even a scoring system can get it that wrong.

      The bonus point calculation algorithm wont take into account the quality of goal scored obviously (i.e. despite Diame's goal being amazing an RVP's being offisde!).

      RVP also had a decent amount of on-target shots iirc
