Following a dramatic Stadium of Light clash, we can now look forward to five three o’clock kick-offs keep Saturday’s action moving, before Liverpool host Villa in the evening encounter.

Fantasy managers will be fixated on events at the Emirates and the Etihad as Arsenal and City face up to favourable opponents on home turf. The likes of David Silva, Yaya Toure and Alvaro Negredo will be well backed ahead of their meeting with Cardiff, while Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud will be amongst the names being watched keenly when Fulham draw up in North London.

Elsehwhere, many Fantasy managers will be hoping for Palace to reconstruct fortress Selhurst Park and earn a clean sheet against visiting Stoke. Meanwhile, Norwich host Hull City and West Ham look to continue their revival against Newcastle at the Boleyn Ground.

            One "paper" problem is that City doesn't keep clean sheets when Kolarov plays LB, so you can count those 4 points out immediately. He has to score or assist to get you points. In fact, him playing this much decreases the appeal of the whole City defence.

      Cazorla to Gerrard here. It did enable better keepers and defence, but feels sore..

      45 mins for Gerrard to score a pen or assist a couple.

    Nice call for people going with Palace defence since Pulis. I haven't adapted yet and afraid I may get onto the bandwagon and get burned...

    I already have a pretty budget backline, though. MOlsson, Burner, Clyne with Mert and JEvans.

      Had Gabbidon for ages, and speroni in net since boruc first injury. Considered mannone but chose not to because they've got city and arsenal away.

      The performance against city was very encouraging, no team stops them scoring freely at the etihad.
