    First, is it worth moving Cabaye to someone esle for -4 (otherwise have Pozuelo off the bench)

    Think this is a good time to flag up an old article [http://premierleaguefantasy.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/do-defences-really-strengthen-as-season.html] by FPL statistician Chris Glover where he found clean sheets become more common as the season progresses, especially for the 'top 6' clubs. What's interesting is that he suggests something that will strike a chord with quite a few people:

    "Well, it seems like an optimal strategy may be to open the season with 5 defenders from teams with upside, whose fixtures gel and who all come at an easily replaceable price (getting stuck with too many dud 4.5m defenders can be a major problem). As the cream rises during the season, we could consider shifting funds from having 5 good players to maybe just 3 very good ones (hopefully one will emerge at a bargain price) and then ride those studs to virtually the end of the season (which becomes a crap shoot depending on who has trophies to play for, and which ones)."

        Ah, Clichy being rested? Because he played in the zero pressure (they were 6-0 up from the first leg) League Cup game four days prior to the FA Cup game. So far entirely consistent with Kolarov being first choice.

    With Cabaye gone - Ben Afra becomes a really tempting option at 6.5.

    Im tempted to take a punt on him as I have to sell Cabaye (on WC) and will haveo nly 7.2 to play with.

    So its either Ramsey (will he play?), AJ (sure thing to play), or Ben Afra (punt, but big potential)

            True, plus Moyes has to manage him more, he's young. Don't want to burn him out. Mmh. I'd like more United in my team to be honest. But my team value is crap so I don't have a ton of options, unless maybe I downgrade my defense a little bit.

            Frankly I'm kind of stuck. I should be like a kid in a candy store with that WC but I'm like a poor kind in the candy store! Can't afford the good stuff!!

              I don't know... I'm not really convinced, myself.

              Could go with Puncheon and then use the extra 1.9 to upgrade elsewhere. Ben Arfa gaining some traction around here, but I'm not a believer.

            in that case i'd go for kosc i think, 1.1 cheaper and I can use that to upgrade one of chester or whittaker.

    How do you view Adam Johnson? Trying to get some perspective since I've never seen him actually seen him play.

    Is he a 3 week punt? Potential to be a season keeper? Or just downgrade elsewhere and get Eriksen or maybe Ramsey
