West Brom may seem an unlikely source of end of season Fantasy talent but, form and a batch of favourable fixtures for the Baggies over the final four gameweeks undoubtedly make them well worthy of consideration. Roy Hodgson’s side have hit the 40 point-mark and, while they are mathematically still not clear of relegation from the Premier League, the club’s outstanding recent run of form suggests otherwise.

One defeat in nine matches since Hodgson’s appointment has seen them average two goals per game, a big difference from the previous 31 goals in 25 games under Roberto Di Matteo. Considering they have one clean sheet all season, it’s fair to say West Brom have been reliant on the men up front to fire them to top-flight safety and luckily for Hodgson, he has the services of Peter Odemwingie to rely upon.

Odemwingie has had a dream debut season in the Premier League and with (AVL, wol, EVE, new) still to come, there’s surely some more goals in the Nigerian’s boots between now and the end of the season. The “Hodgson Effect” has had a big impact on his Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points output, too; he averaged a respectable 4.6 points per game (ppg) under Di Matteo, but has soared to 6.4ppg since Roy’s arrival.

While Charlie Adam has been hailed as the Fantasy bargain of the season, a look at Value (Season) in FPL shows Odemwingie has matched the Blackpool man, with both top on 28. Adam is owned by 35.4% of FPL teams but Odemwingie stars in just 12.1%, despite a ridiculously low price of 5.4.

As many Fantasy Managers look to get rid of double gameweek 34 players and with the likes of Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal all facing some tricky upcoming fixtures, a transfer-in for Odemwingie almost seems like a no-brainer; 4 goals, 4 assists and 8 Bonus Points in his last 5 games (a run including clashes with Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea) marks him as the in-form forward in the Premier League right now and a budget-friendly bargain at that.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Just noticed that your website is flagged as suspicious by zone alarm security software. You may want to have a look at that, its because the website is quite new (I think). Whoever you purchased your SSL certificates from may need to update them.

Its a free firewall/security suite program but I know quite a lot of people use it - can get it from any freeware site like filehippo.com

Sorry in advance if I offend anybody, but a read a few comments about getting Kuyt or Odem now is chasing points. That's complete nonsense in my point of view. Some guy on here told me that after the first 2 big scores from Kuyt, but hasn't stopped scoring yet.
It would be right if they had difficult away games, but both have tasty home fixtures and are among those who have the best chances to reach double figures. Of course they could get nothing, but this game is about giving yourself the best chance to get a decent score and those two are amongst the 3-5 best options I'd say.

gonna do a 12 point hit for the first time. Nasri, etherington, carroll and rvp out for silva, yaya, suarez and bent.

    etherington(injured)
    nasri(2 points probably)
    carroll(on the bench)
rvp(risky i know but against utd i dont think he will do much)

    silva(home to wh then dgw)
    yaya(same)
bent(usually scores away, then home to wigan)
suarez(Will do well against castle, My C for the week)

thoughts on nani AP? Seems down in the gutter confidence wise, runs petering out to nothing, no decision making, slight sulk since valencia is back, and doesnt seem the type to grab things by the balls and show his worth.

what you reckon? Sick of no returns from him, despite main rival not having him its awfully tempting to get rid..

dear nani, here's a bigger, faster, more exciting, likeable and talented, less selfish, less dramatic version of you. You look like him, but after he's been left in the bath for 200 years and shrunk by a couple of feet, a bit like that bit at the end of indiana jones 3, except you are probably about the same age. How's your confidence?

How many points between u n rival? Nani looked bright when he came on against shalke but pretty sure rod wallace could have torn them a new one.

      Pros to keeping -
due a big one at home
      Best midfielder of season

      Cons to keeping -
      Out of form
      Possible roatation risk
      Difficult fixtures

I've been thinking about what RBJ said about ditching RVP and im tempted by it. Chasing a lead, only a few GW's left and he never scores against Utd. I can see Suarez scoring a few this GW and i have Fabregas for Arsenal cover anyway if we play well against Stoke the following GW. Im basically trying to get as many differentials between myself and my rival.

Think I have finally got my team in quite good shape. although when I think that it usually goes to shit....

    Cech (Green)
    Baines Luiz Johnson R (Djourou)
Adam Barton Yaya Jarvis Lamps (Barton)
    Sturridge Suarez (C) RVP

I need to sort out defence but that will have to wait til next week, thinking about Kolarov.

Anyone think I have overlooked anything?

Agree - I know there is a lot of love for Toure at the minute but is he really the sort of player to go bagging goals/assists and bonus?

A good player to get in for free but not worth the hit imo. Hold fire and cross your fingers.

My team has no kuyt, suarez, silva or yaya. WHAT TO DO?!?!?!

Luiz Kolarov R Johnson (Terry Walker)

Being picky, i'd say your risks are having two Chelsea defenders given their fixtures, having a Brum keeper and defender given their away form, Carroll's fitness and Fulhams fixtures for Dempsey.

But 73 is now effectively an 85 point lead, no need to panic transfer - so far your judgement has proved better to your rivals.

I brought him in for the Birmingham game and this one, so swapping for Suarez (C). Think he will start and bench then come on for a cameo appearance, no need to change winning team and risk injury!
