We have four matches on this evening’s agenda as Gameweek 26 gets up and running. Cardiff welcome Villa to Wales as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side prepare for a run of three home games in four – the Bluebirds will have to do without Craig Bellamy, though, after he decided against appealing a three-match ban for violent conduct.

Elsewhere, Hull and Southampton go head to head at the KC, with Steve Bruce’s side looking to curtail the attacking talents of Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Rickie Lambert. Tigers new boys Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic both grabbed a goal apiece against Sunderland and will be hoping to prosper against a Saints backline devoid of the injured Dejan Lovren.

West Ham entertain Norwich at Upton Park in the other 7.45pm kick-off. Kevin Nolan is looking to continue the form that has seen him bag braces in each of his last two appearances, though Norwich have three clean sheets in four and make their way to London having nullified the threat of City at Carrow Road last Saturday.

The final match to get underway takes place at the Hawthorns. West Brom welcome league leaders Chelsea, with Eden Hazard carrying the armband hopes of plenty after his scintillating hat-trick against Newcastle at the weekend.

As always, our Dugout Discussion chatroom will support your real-time banter requirements throughout this evening’s matches.

Given their current form at the moment, who would you rather start in your team?

    Lallana or Sterling.

Diego made that atleti d madrid team win europa league. yes falacao was there but hes an insane engine. Im also a fan of juve and granted did not lay well. Wolfsburg felix magath r whomever over ther made his life crap. due has too much talent. saw him play w saantos w/ robinho, they created havoc.

John Ruddy (Norwich) pulls off a decent save! Kevin Nolan (West Ham) attempts to head home after a precise cross into the box. He aims his header towards the middle of the net, but the effort is kept out. The ball ends behind the line. A goal kick is following.

Sweetpea's 10 thoughts of the Night:

    1. Loads of good budget milfs, Sterling improving, Noone and Zaha sound lively.

    2. Bruce edges closer to nailed on.

    3. Sou attack close to essential for value. Thinking Lambert due to set pieces.

    4. Reid may not get into the team anytime soon if West ham continue clean sheets.

    5. Baines is about to explode with their fixtures.

    6. No problem having Studge and Suarez given studges consistency, as everyone has teeth face anyway.

    7. Snodgrass' stats are unbelievable, but conversion isn't so much.

    8. Chelsea defence is essential and doubling is an option, especially with Dave at 5.4m.

    9. Everyone should be planning Aguero return GW27, but City are likely to have double blank gw28/29, so no rush with him.

    10. Sweetpea set to rise tonight, Polly Pocket won't know what hit her.

#2 Was only due to Rosenior's injury or he'd have been on the bench. If McShane is to miss games then yes, Bruce will start the next few, but would be benched again when Chester is fit. Bruce is a short-term opportunist pick, will play when there are injuries to others but not when others are fit.
