Sunday focuses on the ambitions of the Merseyside pair, as Everton look to close in on fourth place with a win over Arsenal at Goodison, while Liverpool seek to extend their run of victories to nine by clawing back top spot with the points at West Ham.

Arsenal take on the Toffees having won just once in five matches, while Roberto Martinez’s outfit have five straight wins, putting them just four points behind the Gunners with a game in hand. Sunday’s clash is perfectly poised, then, with Fantasy managers looking to a host of Everton options ahead of their double Gameweek to come.

Later today, Luis Suarez will face up to a West Ham defence with the majority backing the Uruguayan with the armband. His potential haul looks pivotal to our Gameweek fortunes again, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard providing an able supporting cast at the Boleyn Ground.

Our Twitter feed will bring you all the news from today’s teamsheets, while the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open to accompany you right through to the final whistle in East London.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm now going to eat humble pie following all my wailing about playing Coleman over Ward (and that's as a VERY HAPPY Evertonian).
Gameweek back on a more even keel. Only major feck up now looks like Caulker over Azpi. And yes I STILL can't let that go.... 😉

Contemplating a 4-point hit for the DGW -

    Dummett > Ward
    Gerrard > Mirallas
    Sturridge > Lukaku

    If Aguero's fit then

    Gerrard > Mirallas
    Sturidge > Lukaku
    Dzeko > Aguero

    DGW considerations:
With only 4 teams playing two games, how many DGW players are we considering remembering the the fixtures:
    Sunderland v Everton
    Liverpool v Man City
    Palace v Villa
    Everton v Palace
    Man City v Sunderaland

I see little value in Sunderland based on the level of opponent but feel safe with minimum of 7?

Thoughts / views on numbers, hits and ratio of player per club?

I think anything above 8 is risky. Only 2 dgw games which means a lot of eggs in 2 baskets. Also just consider who you'll bench.

I currently find myself with 7, and was contemplating a hit to take to 9 but its what I have left afterwards which is the concern going into GW35.

Is there any value in Sunderland?

Lukaku was already in, Dzeko was edited in.

It wasn't for the kudos of picking winners, it was more about providing site visitors with fair information.

If Rooney was listed when we knew he was injured, people may have played him on mis-information. The article (Scout Picks) maintains the original text.

Incidentally, and not just as a Toffee, does anyone else think the media is getting a bit carried away with Liverpol at the moment?

On BBC site, the Everton-Arsenal game for instance sat under a massive graphic of 'Liverpool's path to the title' and now there's a comment likening Brenda to 'the new Shanks'.
It's almost as if half of the BBC commentary team are ex-Liverpool players....oh.

Get a grip guys. Liverpool have won nothing of note under Rogers yet and aren't likely to change that this year. The title is City's to lose for my money with Chelsea the more likely benefactors if they mess it up.

City are favourites who's saying they aren't.

Liverpool are playing the best football in the league their run has been incredible why shouldn't they get a bit of credit for it?

Nobody says they don't deserve credit, his point is that it's all about Liverpool's title hopes and nothing is really said about the others. They deserve huge credit for it but the added media pressure isn't necessarily a good thing either for the Pool fairs. A lot of pressure is now heaped on them to win the title which is unfair really, a lot of young guys who don't deserve that level of pressure.

And I agree the performances have been great but as I said above, the pressure that is being put on may become too much. TI find it nearly unfair now, a few sources really have wen the whole hog saying Pool should win the title etc. which is huge pressure to put on the Pool lads. Nobody really mentions how delighted they deserve to be if they finish 2nd or 3rd, they just go on and on about the title.

I would agree there's a bit of hysteria at the moment over it, certainly it has to do with how many ex-Pool players are involved. Pretty sure Souness made the argument a couple of weeks ago that because Man City got knocked out of the FA cup they're not going to win the Premiership.

          definitely.

Arsenal have done well against weaker opposition and their remaining games look great.

Kos, Rambo and even Caz on the radar post DGW for me.

Sturridge and Terry --> Kolarov and Aguero (free)

Already have Ivan. Aguero (c). Might come like 50k at the end of the season but might get back into the top 10k if it pays off.

he is the roller coaster ride of the season. Absolutely furious with him the last two occasions i've owned him. Swore blind i would never take him back. Then Aguero gets fit, and Roony gets injured. He was my only option, and he won me over in style.
