Just one round of fixtures left, then, before the season comes to a close. We assess the progress of the Scout league leaders in a variety of Fantasy games, with Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Ultimate Fantasy Premier League, Sky Sports, Sun Dream Team and Champions League games all included in this afternoon’s round-up:
Fantasy Premier League
Tom Fenley retains his spot at the top of the Scout league after picking up 67 points in the previous Gameweek. Vito Mannone, Yaya Toure and captain Sergio Aguero all delivered double figures, whilst the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Branislav Ivanovic, Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez all picked up the points as Tom moved onto 2,586 points – number one in the world.
Our recent podcast guest Luke Weston remains in second after picking up 59 points in a disappointing double Gameweek. Like Tom, he also had Toure, Aguero, Mannone and Suarez, though his decision to captain Juan Mata proved costly, after the United midfielder managed just four armband points. Luke also has Connor Wickham and Gary Cahill to thank as he moved onto 2,564 points, enough for third overall.
Veronika Solymosi soars into third after an excellent 83 point Gameweek. Opting for a front three of Aguero, Edin Dzeko and captain Fabio Borini, she also earned points from John O’Shea, Martin Demichelis and Leighton Baines, moving to fifth overall on 2,550 points.
Eoin Maye slides from third to fourth in the Scout league. Eoin is now seventh in the overall rankings – Mannone, Aguero, Dzeko and Samir Nasri were his main men, with Mata a captaincy let-down.
Jono McPhillips climbs to fifth spot after a 78-point Gameweek. He handed Toure the armband and also earned points from Nasri, Aguero, Suarez, Mannone, Wickham and Ivanovic as he jumped to 12th overall.
Thanks to the performances of our top five, Fantasy Football Scout remains top of the League of Leagues. To join up, the league code is 1580-1106.
In the Fantasy Football Scout Members league, world number one Tom Fenley leads the way. Jono McPhillips is in second spot on 2,533 points, whilst Luke van Lelyveld is back in third on 2,508 points.
Ultimate Fantasy Premier League
Alew Bowers climbs to the top spot in the Scout league for the Beta phase of the Ultimate game. With 1,034 points, he is now first in the overall standings, whilst Bogdan Radu is in second spot on 1,016 points – enough to earn his seventh overall. Jason Pont drops to third this week, with 1,004 points leaving him eleventh in the overall standings so far.
Sky Sports Fantasy Football
Dammy Olubokun’s pair of teams remain first and second in the Scout league, with 2,535 and 2,519 points respectively. Dammy’s two sides sit in second and third spot overall, though his highest scoring side is now 73 points off the summit. In third spot in the Scout League is Luke Williams, who writes our Friday afternoon Sky Sports Focus articles under the name d1sable – Luke is fifth in the overall standings on 2,509 points. The winner of our Sky league, which is also top in the league of leagues, wins £1,000.
Sun Dream Team
Geoff Pryor remains the runaway leader of the Scout league with a total of 2,062 points. His tactic of loading up on three of Chelsea’s backline and Liverpool’s front two has paid off so far and helped him into eighth in the overall standings, just 32 points off the top. Charles Mouzon sits in second and third spot, though his highest scoring XI is 146 points behind Geoff. The winner of our Sun league also picks up £1,000.
Champions League
With just the final left to play on May 24, Pavel123 remains on top of the Scout league on 826 points – earning him fourth spot overall. Zadid56 sits 20 points further back in second (15th overall) and Diegocho33 is in third on 802 points, enough to earn 22nd spot overall.
Fantasy Football Scout Cup
The Fantasy Football Scout Cup IX Final will take place this weekend, whilst we’ll also have a play-off for third and fourth, with prizes, as well as pride, still very much on the line. Our Members Cup IV Final was played out over the previous Gameweek – we will publish an article on both cups later today.
