Mondogoal Arrives At Fantasy Football Scout

Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce that we’re teaming up with Mondogoal, a new daily and weekly Fantasy Football game, for the 2014/15 season.

Mondogoal arrives as a new player on the scene, backed by two of the Premier League’s elite – Man City and Liverpool – and delivers a new experience, allowing Fantasy Managers to compete for free or for cash prizes across a range of games in any given Gameweek.

The game not only covers the Premier League; Mondogoal support both the Champions League and Europa League and run contests for all the major top flight leagues – Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Major League Soccer (MLS).

Getting involved is simple – you register an account, find a contest to join and then go about selecting your starting XI.

The basic principles will be familiar, although Mondogoal has its own scoring system which introduces new factors into play when considering your lineup. Points are awarded for completed passes, defenders benefit from interceptions gathered, while the propensity to draw and commit fouls is also key.

Each week we’ll be presenting you with our assessment of the top targets on offer ahead of each set of Premier League fixtures. Throughout the season, Mondogoal will be hosting Fantasy Football Scout contests with prize pots on offer for our visitors.

A full strategy guide, discussing the finer points of the Mondogoal scoring system and assessing how this will shape our tactics, will be published later this week.

    How often is Kolarov likely to play? He's captained city in preseason but rotation is a worry.

    Also, I've currently got Silva in my team but not sure whether he's worth it when Lamela/Eriksen are cheaper and arguably likely to do as well. Already have Mata and Sanchez.

      He is an absolutely outstanding player. His performances are jaw dropping. I worship the grass he prances on, I do however think he will assist the assisster quite a bit and be frustrating FPL wise.

      If he can up his conversion rate from 5% (yup, he was *that* bad last year) to a very reasonable 15%... He'd be a 15 goal man easy.

      Silva is vanilla & he gets no *press* here because he's not a sexy pick.
      When fit he averages about 6ppg.
      He's also nailed on for a team that scored 100+ goals last year.
      What's not to like?

      (In before, "He gets injured though!"
      They all do but, do we avoid Sturridge, RVP, Roo, Kun, & Ramsey etc...?
      No we ride them & use our transfers to find the next one.)

          It's also because I think QPR have the best chance of adapting to the prem, but it's just a hunch really. Redknapp has experience and so do a few of their players.

    Hello Everton fans.

    Does Naismith seem likely to get plenty of gametime early on? Played quite a bit last season towards the end and now we have Lukaku and Mirallas a bit short on match fitness and no Deulofeu to worry about.

    Could be useful at 5m perhaps!

          Yes I might. Although I've not decided yet between him, Dzeko and Jovetic. They all have their up- and downsides.

          With Adebayor there is the obvious risk that Soldado spoils the party, which you're aware of. In the end I think Ade is by far the better player and that he will win out. Especially if he wants to - I only like very few FPL players more than Ade when he wants to be good.

            thats mad. i had Rooney, Dzeko and Jovetic as my front 3 but when they said aguero could be ready for next week I decided I wanted a bit more security and dropped Jovetic as I think he is the one who will make way when Aguero does return
