Has to be B for the opening fixtures, and try to weave Sturridge in after that.

    RMT

    De Gea (Gilks)
    Terry, Chambers, Bardsley, (Clyne, Bartley)
    Hazard, Ramsey, Silva, Young, (Sig)
    Rooney, Costa, Naismith

Rotating Sig & Naismith (until Jutk's fixtures offer greater point potential) with the option switching to a 5 man midfield, Clyne offers very good fixtures after the first game week and a lot of assist potential. Bartley will come in for chambers after Mert returns, or if Swansea sign a new CB then Naylor will be transferred for Chambers, and Bartley will eventually give way to Moore if the rumours of his playing potential are apparent in the opening fixtures.

My main concerns is whether to have DDG or 2x 4.5's. I have chosen Young over Mata because as much as I try to, I cannot picture my team without one attacking player from City's outfit. With Valencia injured and Young's pre season form, he offers security of starts and could easily nudge Valencia off that right wing back spot with good form.

Any external criticisms please fire away

Honestly if he signs for them can see him being a regular before he was injured he was a regular for Liverpool for a while and he plays surprising a lot like Ivan does for Chelsea. Looks very awkward at full back but works well there and likes to push forward a lot.

      From earlier:

Martin Kelly potential impact on Palace defense - and in short it really throws a spanner in:

Hopefully we will get some more insight from TP as to where he sees him fitting in best, but as of right now, it would make the most sense to me to play Kelly in his natural RB position and play Ward again, out of position, at LB. Ward out of position at LB is better than Mariappa I think, but it would problematically not allow Ward to further develop at his natural position. But for right now, today, I think this would be best for the team. That is, unless TP buys a proper LB.

Another option may be to play Ward at CDM next to Jedi, and keep Mariappa at LB. My Liverpool friend really rates Kelly and is telling me he has been having a great preseason and looks fully fit for the first time in ages. Another possibility is Kelly rotating in as a CB next to Dann, but the presence of Delaney and Hangeland complicates that.

Really tough to say what will happen and if we don't get further insight from Pulis before the weekend, I reckon the safest bet is to go with Ward until the dust settles.

I mean fitness isn't a question for Kelly as he's been perfectly fit throughout his preseason for BR. The real question is whether or not TP will trust him straight away and thrust him into the lineup. It could go either way, really. I would definitely not risk starting with him though.

In that case, then yes I would go for Kelly over Mariappa. May not work out for the first 3 GWs, but over the medium-long run it will.

Eriksen has not had much involvement in Spurs' goals in pre-season. Is Lamela a better pick? The £30m man has bags of potential in the hole.

Or do you think another is better value at that price, Coutinho or Tadic perhaps?

Eriksen will rise to the top quite quickly i think. Lamela has had a great preseason but the Dane has set pieces, corners etc. in his locker also. It's probably 51-49 though ... Lamela would be a great differrential.

My policy is not care about preseason results other than to see who's fit/who will play. If Eriksen retains set pieces, I don't see why he shouldn't be close to as good as he was last year. Which was brilliant from an FPL standpoint.

None nailed on necessarily. All big question marks about their place in the teams. Kelly should be nailed but maybe not right away? Hasn't even actually signed yet has he? Cameron might be sold, Targett will probably get replaced by a new signing, Wisdom is a question with Gamboa but maybe he'll play CB? Just too many question marks, could end up having to take hits early on to fix them!

Unless you're looking for ultra flair it's gotta be Eriksen in that spot early doors. Switch to Lamela when he shows some form when the opposing team is actually trying and it's not just preseason fluff. That said, I do really rate Lamela and I think he will have a very good year.

    Hazard vs D.Costa ?!

    1) Hazard:
    (Pros)
    - He has proven his explosiveness in the Premier League already.
    - He keeps getting praises from Mourinho and teammates.
    - 0.5 cheaper which allows bettering your team overall.
    - He is a winger and new BAPS seem to favor them most.
    - Less owned, so somewhat differential over D.Costa.
    - On penalties and some set pieces.
    - 90 minutes nailed-on.
    (Cons)
    - Unpredictable, he can score a hattrick, or totally flop.
    - Recently, he has been going to the wing more and less in penalty area (observation)

    D.Costa:
    (Pros)
    - He scored in the friendlies and proven striker.
    - Best striker Chelsea has.
    - Drogba's injury increases his "nailed-on-ness" at least for GW1.
    - more owned, so if you have him and he scores, he will not hurt you.
    - Facing newly promoted teams defenses in the opening fixtures.
    - More consistent on team level (observation)
    (Cons)
    - More expensive.
    - He is probably going to be substituted by minute 80 max (knowing Mourinho's style)

Who do you have? or prefer having should you have to choose only one ?

      I switched from Hazard/Dzeko to Costa/Lamela today.

Feeling good about it. Hazard has a knack of disappearing in some games, but Costa should be involved in most of the Chelsea goals. Hazard could explode at any time though...

Yep did the same except I have Jovetic. Costa is there to score goals and so far looks to be up to the task. Lamela a bit of a punt, as I don't want to end up with the template here. Too many of the same team floating around

Still debating between the two. One of the cons for Costa is that he isn't proven in the Premier League yet. Can he do it on a wet Monday night at Turf Moor?

For me it was simple, as much as I'd love to have Hazard in my team. I prefer having Eriksen and Costa rather then Hazard and Bony or Giroud

Unpopular opinion time: Mata is much better in FPL than in real life. Same goes for Walcott and Kolarov.

Mata is a tooop quality playmaker, Chelsea player of the season for 2 years in a row before moving to Old Trafford. I wouldn't say he's better in FPL but rather the vice versa. Walcott is also a very capable winger but he's so injury prone. Kolarov is indeed not a great full-back defensively due to his lack of speed, poor marking and tackling but his long shot, spot kicks and crosses are class.

RMT ! Think im finally at peace with my team. After changing it around 10 times.

    Foster/Myhill

    Cahill, Debuchy, Ferdinand, VanAnholt, Wisdom

    Lamela, Mata, Ramsey, Mutch, Marney

    Dzeko, Sturridge, Diego Costa..

Was gonna have Evans but im scared of his injury. Pick between him and Debuchy. Im a Gooner so i´ll probably stick with Debuchy.
