Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

      Would be interesting to see.

      I used the gargatron tool last season and it showed that my vice captains scored more than my captain at the end of the season.

    Eriksen, who plays QPR at home, to Sigurdsson as my only transfer for the week? Not to free up funds for anyone else. Just as a transfer. What do you think? Getting memories of Siggy Mark 1 and Michael, who I never brought in.

      I would stick, Spurs got some decent fixtures coming up and overall I think have more potential as a team than Swansea. Besides Spurs were playing with 10 from about 30minutes onwards

          It's not an assist then. Sig squared it and Ki finished it. Bony's movement was good but he just didn't look great at all, Gomis waiting to fight him for that spot...

    Sooo tempted to do a -8 already! Fixtures look great but then I have to remind myself...the fixtures haven't changed from when I picked my first team.

      he was one of the stars of the season for me.

      I always bought him when fit and sold him when injured. He made me good money and loads of points while others were afraid of 'wasting a transfer'

        The guy would always pull a hammy right after coming back from injury. I wild carded and took point hits several times to get him in only for him to get injured and be out for an extended period of time.
