With Gameweek 1 concluded, itโ€™s time to delve a little deeper into the data in our first “Big Numbers” article for members of the campaign. We analyse the display of Arsenalโ€™s new wide man against Palace, the QPR front pairing at home to Hull, Liverpoolโ€™s ever-improving youngster, Southamptonโ€™s delivery under Ronald Koeman and Unitedโ€™s weekend scorer in the 2-1 home loss to Swansea.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Morning chaps,
    My current defence is:
    Wisdom, Debuchy, Naughton*, Bruce*, Cahill

I need to raise 0.5m so

    Should I do:
    A) Debuchy -> Clyne
    OR
    B) Naughton -> Hutton

    Cheers

or a returns policy if the player proves faulty, or not fit for purpose.

Is Sanogo ruled out for this weekend or is there a possibility that he will start ahead of Giroud once again?

Should I keep Giroud or shift to Bony/Dzeko?

Another option is to downgrade Giroud to Riviere to fund Costa to Aguero(c) for GW 3.

I would go for Bony, at least this GW and the next.

      I am playing a 3 - 5 - 2 and am wondering a few things

      1. Is Shurrle going to keep his form, or is aguero the better choice

      2. Out of these 4, which 3 to play? Hutton, Clyne, Chester, Dier

        1) Schurlle could be great if he was assured of starts. Chelsea have so many good players that rotation could well be a nightmare.
        2) I'd play the last 3

That is right, Chelsea have a problem with the rotation, and i already have Hazard

          RMT:
          McGregor (Myhill)

          Chester, Dier, Clyne (Moore, Wisdom)

          Ramsey, Siggy, Hazard, Mata, Schurrle

          Costa(c), Rooney (Agurero)

Mayb benching one midfielder to make room for another forward Sturridge/Agurero/Bony

Selling Shurrle would also make it possible to play coutouis

I have free transfers trough GW3

In his previous tenure at Swansea Siggy was far more effective away from home. This could have been anomalous, but Id be viewing it as a gamble to stick the armband on him at this point.

But a Chelsea defender takes up a large amount of budget, if Saints get 3 clean sheets in the next 7 and chelsea get 4 clean sheets in the next 7, I'd much rather have the £2mill cheaper option that got 4 points less..

I can't see Chelsea exploding over the next few fixtures surely with them facing City away, Everton away, Palace away, United away and Arsenal home all in the next 8 or 9 games.

Do you think Costa will get more goals than Kun even with those fixtures?

Was a good post earlier from from Diva

        C&P below

The simple, all-in-one guide to why Siggy did not go up in price last night:
        1. FPL adjusts the required transfers boundaries each year.
        2. TotalFPL and FISO don't know the changes and have to monitor early price changes to work out what is happening and what changes they need to make to their formulas.
        3. Siggy would have been the first double price rise using the best approximation of last year's formula, but...
        4. The formula appears to have changed fairly significantly for the second rise in a week*. We can have ideas about why, but...
        5. We won't get a clearer idea until someone does rise .2 in a week and...
        6. We won't be absolutely sure until there have been several .2 price rises.

*it's most likely to only apply within a Gameweek, but we can't be 100% certain yet.

If you have bigger issues than mata sort them if you don't you can maybe take the risk... it is a sideways move IMO (mata->Fab) but in the short term could be better just because of the prise rise and fall.

Pens are not worth 1.5 imo.

Early thoughts on my starting 11. Should I go with Fletcher or Davis? I am erring towards Davis.

    Cheers.

    Terry, Chester, Clyne
    (Davis), Sigurdsson, Ramsey, Eriksen, Fábregas
    Rooney, Diego Costa, (Fletcher)

Given people seem to be looking forward to gw3 to bring in aguero as a potential captain against stoke..im thinking it is not going to be worth it considering he then has gw 4 arsenal (a) gw5 Chelsea (h)? If he plays a decent amount this week and potentially scores will you still bring him in with this in mind?

      Yes.
And possibly shift to Sturridge as Liverpool's fixture ease out
