Last season’s top two go head-to-head at the Etihad this evening as Gameweek 2 is brought to its conclusion. Both City and Liverpool go in search of a second successive win, allowing Fantasy managers the chance to assess our options in midfield and attack, with Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge looking to get amongst the goals once again.

Aguero remains on the bench for City, however, as Manuel Pellegrini makes just one change from the side that defeated Newcastle last Sunday. The City boss hands Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko the chance to lead the line again, then, whilst Pablo Zabaleta is drafted in at right-back, with Gael Clichy swapping over to the other flank as Aleksandar Kolarov drops out.

Brendan Rodgers makes a couple of alterations to the XI that started against Southampton last time around. New signing Alberto Moreno is handed a debut at left-back, with Glen Johnson shifting to the right of defence as Javier Manquillo drops out. Elsewhere, Joe Allen comes in for Lucas in the centre of the park.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

      this needs either 3-4 hits or WC

      Lose Cameron, Ferdinand, barkley, Wickham..maybe Baines, Lovren & Bruce as well

      Wild card before it's too late. Keep Jovetic Mata, maybe find a better rotating pair of keepers, probably lose the rest.

    The silver lining in the cloud for Liverpool is that if Skrtel really picked an injury that will give them a chance to pair Sakho-Lovren in central defence, which I think could be their best combination by far. Let's admit it, despite all his goals and legendary status, Skrtel is bringing that defence down.

    2 FTs.

    A. Dzeko + Mutch --> Naismith + Sterling

    OR

    B. Rooney + Jones --> Aguero + Wisdom

    I intend to make all four transfers eventually, but I'd prefer not to take any hits this week at least. Which of those options should I do first?
