Last season’s top two go head-to-head at the Etihad this evening as Gameweek 2 is brought to its conclusion. Both City and Liverpool go in search of a second successive win, allowing Fantasy managers the chance to assess our options in midfield and attack, with Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge looking to get amongst the goals once again.

Aguero remains on the bench for City, however, as Manuel Pellegrini makes just one change from the side that defeated Newcastle last Sunday. The City boss hands Stevan Jovetic and Edin Dzeko the chance to lead the line again, then, whilst Pablo Zabaleta is drafted in at right-back, with Gael Clichy swapping over to the other flank as Aleksandar Kolarov drops out.

Brendan Rodgers makes a couple of alterations to the XI that started against Southampton last time around. New signing Alberto Moreno is handed a debut at left-back, with Glen Johnson shifting to the right of defence as Javier Manquillo drops out. Elsewhere, Joe Allen comes in for Lucas in the centre of the park.

      I would just swap out Bego or Ferdinand. Think I'm giving up on Bego myself, shame there isn't a decent 5.0m keep.. will have to downgrade 🙁

    Honestly though, I know he was brilliant today but does bringing Jovetic make sense now? It's so tempting because of his price but I think I would rather bring in Aguero.

    Took Jovetic out before his price dropped for Naismith, before his price went up. But now want to swap them back. I won't get 0.05Mil if I sell and they have gone up by 0.1Mil will I?

      A 0.1 rise doesn't allow you to sell for a profit. A 0.1 fall does mean you sell for a loss. I think that's a no to your question?

            I concur. Downgrade Kolarov and swap out Austin.. not many options in your price range for Austin though.

      Newcastle haven't scored a goal yet. Siem De Jong would have to provide Riviere with an open goal for him to have a chance to score anything at this point.

      Santon is injured, I'd say Dummett has his place for the immediately future. I transfered him in FOR Colo and it was great, I now have .5M and a few clean sheets in the future.
