Obtaining a better balance to your squad is fundamental to Fantasy success. Itβs all very well selecting the likes of Frank Lampard and Robin Van Persie but if such luxury choices leave you rummaging around the bargain basement for players that offer little returns, itβs perhaps time for a re-think.
Since the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) 2011/12 game launched on late Thursday evening, weβve been working away in the background and, after many hours of number-crunching, have produced our first set of Projected Points Returns for the upcoming season.
The factors taken into consideration with our Projections are varied- past performance, team tactics, possible rotation, the impact of new signings, susceptibility to injury, the new FPL Bonus Points system and even January 2012βs African Cup of Nations come into the equation. As pre-season continues and the season unfolds, we will update these figures on a regular basis to offer an up-to-date reflection of each playerβs potential going into Gameweek one. Our full list of “Projections” will be released on the Members Area early next week but, over a series of articles, we’re going to start to dissect them right here and now for our Members.
