    Dier flagged. Ffs, not going to make anything from this WC.

          Tasty... still playing the hopeful rises and if that all goes to tits I can easily revert to what I really, really want.

          You have to remember that we're not yet halfway through the break. Transfers will pick up next week.

            Made .1 off Naismith. Can't see anyone else i'm willing to lose rise by .2. Hopefully Dyer will squeeze another rise. Dier was nailed on to rise again until the flag.

    Hey, would you:?
    Cahill & Erikson -> Clyne & Fabregas
    Rooney & DDG -> Forster & Falcao
    Chambers -> Wilson (save 1FT)

    De Gea
    Cahill, Coloccini, O’Shea
    Siggy, Ramsey, Henderson, Erikson
    Costa, Sturridge, Rooney
    (Gilks, Chambers, Chester, King)

    Roonpig | Naismith | Costa

    Gilks, Colocini, JWP, Wisdom

      Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy - Fabregas

      Rooney - Costa - Naismith

    I'm quite proud of myself for not having taken a hit all season going into GW4. In past seasons I've been quite hit happy but trying to turn over a new leaf this time around. Might be the reason I actually have a decent ranking for once! Lets see how long I can keep it up 😉

      Yes.

      Even more so when you consider Aguero is just about returning to full fitness, plus waiting allows us to see how United perform with all of their new signings hopefully fit.

    Thoughts on this set up?

    Forster (Krul)

    Fabregas Sanchez ADM Siggy (£4.5m)

    Costa Falcao Welbeck

    1. emperikal
      • 15 Years

      Still don't think Sanchez is worth his price tag and wouldn't double up on Arsenal with their run of fixtures coming up

        Yeah was looking at it from a differential point of view.

        If I had Sterling instead I'd have £1.4m to spend elsewhere. Probably Chester to Lovren and possibly bank the change.

      Strong balanced team IMO.
      Captain Sturridge seems a decent pick for this week (and gw's after that).

        Thanks for the reply! Yeah seems a bit of a gamble with costa there as well but swansea have looked very good and I don't think chelsea will be putting a lot past them, whereas I have a feeling sturridge could score at least 1 or 2 against villa with sterling on form as well

    Tadic or Pelle? Probably best to have one.

    Worth swapping Rooney and Mata for Sterling and Falcao in danger of price drops? Or am I being a bit too hasty?

    If De Jong is injured, do we rate Sadio Mané as a replacement? He's @ 7m as well and his record with RB Salzburg is pretty impressive.

    Thoughts?

      A definite possibility. I'll be monitoring him but won't be quick to get him in. Need to see how they'll shape up first and if he can continue that form in the EPL

        Agreed. 7m is just such an iffy price range for mids and strikers...

    Anyone else think that Welbeck is absolute daylight robbery @ £6.9m? Surely he's as capable of doing at least as well as that donkey Giroud who seemed quite competitively priced at £8.5m at the start of the season?

    I've been out for a couple of pints and my focus is a little fuzzy but I reckon he's a £9m man based on last seasons PPM.

    No?

      Depends how keen you are on Arsenal's fixtures, really.

      I rate him. But I'm going to wait and see.

      Sitting on the fence. Could go either way for him, am adopting a wait-and-see approach myself.

    Is there a chance Dummett might play some games or has he been dropped?

      Well he was dropped but Newcastle shipping 3 last time out can only help his chances of getting his place back

    Completed my wildcard team! (Pending capitalisation on Ivanovic's and Dyer's price rises)

    Bego - (cabbage)
    Moreno - Pieters - Clyne
    Siggy - Fab - Rambo - Sterling - Tadic
    Costa - Naismith - Falcao

    0.3ITB (will go up to 0.5 after capitalising on those price rises)

    Any sort of input is ace!

      Happy with the Stoke double up? Would maybe consider a Swans defender or Fabianski over Bego

        Well yes, they seem to have an excellent shut out potential fixtures, I reckon a decent bet

          Hmm I'm not so sure.. They don't look solid enough for a double up imo. Just my opinion of course.

        I run this. Bego + Shawx with Fabianski + NTaylor has been just as good as Dier and Ivanovic, who I also have.

        Only one dodgy match-up in the first 20 GWs with that keeper and defender rotation.

    Rooney and Cahill --> Falcao and Moreno for a 4 point hit?

      why would you sell cahill? just do Rooney>Falcao. And if you don't have the £, just save this week.
