    I know we all are technically competing but this is still a community.

    Don't make transfers before the midweek European matches are done.

    And if you do, don't come on here complaining if someone gets injured after you've used your FTs..

    Fantasy football quirks - what are your weird FPL quirks?

    Two of the funny things I do is that that when one of my players scores, particularly when it's a defender, I always immediately check whether there's any doubt about the goal. On the opening weekend I was driving and made my wife read out the detailed description of Chester's goal on the BBC to make sure there was no chance it would be taken away from him.

    The second thing is the 'no points' celebration. Sometimes it's better than a goal from your captain. Say you have no City players and they are at home to West Brom. Toure and Aguero captaincies abound and Silva, Nasri, Dzeko, Zabaleta and Kompany are in double figure % of teams.
    Then in the 80th minute you see they've gone 1-0 up and your heart sinks.

    Then you read: Man City 1 - 0 West Brom (Milner, 80). A slip by Ben Foster taking a free kick and James Milner pounces, rounding the stranded keeper and slotting home.

    One of the best FPL feelings.

      I enjoy it when other people's CS's are ruined. Even better when its the 2nd goal against someone like Ivanovic 🙂

      The Terry OG yesterday was phenomenally enjoyable too 🙂

        There's almost nothing that beats a late clean sheet ruining when your defender has been subbed off. Happened to me last year with both Demel and Koscielny (Kos scored in that game as well I think too).

    Krul (Foster)
    Terry, N Taylor, Pieters
    Ramsey, Sterling, Siggy, Erik
    Rooney (c), Costa, Ade

    Marney, Bruce, Jones

    Who would you bring in for Jones? Thinking Stones or Evans or could do Duff or Moore, leave me enough to do Erik>Fab next week. Any thoughts appreciated. Zero in bank.

      Moore, and then get Fab next week or try and downgrade Terry

        Big call away to City but he is in form. Captain on Rooney in error, haven't decided yet.

      Are Arsenal's fixtures really that tempting though? I'd prefer the likes of N Taylor and Wilson in the 4.5 range.

      I'd hold onto Chambers, likely to play next week.
      Plus that'll be a small warchest, bisciut tin maybe!

      Chambers will play next week, and that warchest would be better with an extra transfer 😉

    Having my best ever start to FPL this season, inside the top 5k for the first time ever! 🙂

    After I played my wildcard I was thinking that maybe I should of held off for a few weeks but with a score of 88 this week I think my decision paid off.

      personally I would get chadli in for ramsey this will save you 3m then you can get shawcross instead of wisdom (whos place is uncertain) Also you could get trippier instead of Cissokho

    Best attacking option from each of these teams?

    Chelsea - Diego Costa - Pretty obvious, followed closely by Fábregas. Hazard yet to turn good performances into points, Modric-like.

    City - Agüero - Amazing goalscoring record, only issue is price & fitness. Not many other decent City options.

    Arsenal - Sánchez - Looked great against City and has settled in well, Welbeck & Ramsey also very viable options. interested in Walcott when he returns.

    Liverpool - Sterling - Liverpool's best player with Sturridge out and Balotelli looking disinterested already. Rodgers won't rotate him again.

    United - ???? - No idea, Di María looked great today, Rooney reeling in the points despite not playing as well. Mata decent in the hole. Falcao yet to make an impression, van Persie well off the pace.

    Not that easy, is it?

            The Balotelli one is a bit off, but Hazard is putting in some really good performances and is involved in most of the goals(assisting the assister), much like Modric used to so for Spurs.

          I think he means "despite rooney not playing well" and "falcao yet to impress!"
          Ronney has got 2 goals and an assist and helps out in the middle and falcao has yet to play 90min!

            That's sort of what I meant, Rooney wasn't exactly great from an attacking perspective today, poor keeping for his goal from green so got a bit lucky. Falcao yet to make an impression as in I don't have an opinion on him yet.

      Ramsey over Sanchez for me.

      Sturridge doesn't look disinterested at all to me, he's looked great this season.

      Agree mostly, Hazard and Aguero are starting to look like potentially explosive differentials.

      I'm genuinely baffled why anyone would sign Balotelli at £10m.

      Di Maria in general is too much of an assist machine for me. I still really think Rooney is a good option.

    Really messed my team up during last couple of GWs:

    Bego (Gilks)
    Terry - Hutton - Duff - Chambers - Chester
    Fabregas - Sterling - Siggy - Ramsey
    Costa - Ade - Dzeko

    Need to get rid of Dzeko asap, but need to keep an eye on total puzzle.
    Should I do:

    A) Dzeko -> Pelle/Welbz/Naismith
    B) Dzeko -> Pelle/Welbz/Naismith + Ramsey -> AdM
    C) Dzeko -> Rooney

    Adebayor Rooney Naismith

      Debuchy is injured so i would replace him.

      Also I would upgrade Krul or Dummet. Not trusting Newcastles defence what so ever. Maybe bring in someone like Clyne, Begovic, Shawcross. Rest of the team looks spot on
