Every little point counts. With the mini-league gap between myself and co-host Granville widening by the week, my Mancunian friend can ill-afford to throw points aside in his bid to follow up last season’s victorious campaign.

In and around the usual ScoutCast regulars, Granville recalls the dilemma that saw him get away with benching Cesc Fabregas to the tune of just a single point. Will that prove costly?

We then join forces to run the rule over the accelerating Di Maria bandwagon, assess Rooney’s re-positioning and decide whether those steering away from Ramsey Street need to re-programme their sat navs.

Treasure this nonsense via this link or cling to these worldly goods via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

No doubt Senderos and Hutton will be provoking Costa like they did with Balotelli.

-4pts if you captain him this week 😛

      Why -4?

      -1 for a yellow
      -3 for a red

        1pt (app) - 3pts (red) = -2pts

        -2pts x 2 (C) = -4pts.

That's it. Marky sprang on the scene banged a hat trick during the relegation play off semi and both him and Coyle scored in the final vs local rivals Harps. Brandywell packed, me full of drink. Great memories.

      Di Maria-Eriksen-Ramsey-Siggy (El Ahmadi)

      Rooney-Pelle-Costa

      Need some advice here:

      Start Terry-Taylor-Bertrand-Wisdom

or drop 1 of these and start Naismith? I am leaning towards the 4 defenders this week but not sure.

I'm about to pull the trigger on Moses, good fixtures, essentially set up both goals last week, seems nailed on but that's my only worry - as a loan player is he really nailed on?

I think Aguero and Costa are even this week. Villa will play a 5 man midfield. Aguero is good away. You can't go wrong - but probably still costa on form. Yes to stirling

Mark and Granville backing Bertrand over Clyne then.

The stats do favour this, but Clyne seems to have that extra something when I watch him play.

Stats don't recognise that aspect of ability.

That will go down as a "Shot from outside the box", and nothing more.

Last chance saloon for Begovic, one clean sheet so far(away to City) and Stoke's fixtures have been pretty easy, only second best to United in difficulty in my opinion.

Yeh I like this option too, if Rooney doesn't steadily improve I will probably have to do that, but rooney scores and creates goals wherever he's playing and so far he has been involved in 4 of untds goals without really hitting form. He's always got points in him.

By hook or by crook, I've stumbled on quite a good front 3 for this week.

      Aguero, Costa, Pelle

Not having Costa the past couple of weeks since my WC, really smarts.
