Every little point counts. With the mini-league gap between myself and co-host Granville widening by the week, my Mancunian friend can ill-afford to throw points aside in his bid to follow up last season’s victorious campaign.

In and around the usual ScoutCast regulars, Granville recalls the dilemma that saw him get away with benching Cesc Fabregas to the tune of just a single point. Will that prove costly?

We then join forces to run the rule over the accelerating Di Maria bandwagon, assess Rooney’s re-positioning and decide whether those steering away from Ramsey Street need to re-programme their sat navs.

    I think the scouts made a great decision to hand the picks to the community. They always got so much stick for them. Now the pressure is on the community champion. Wise 😉

    I guarantee many will not like the team I have picked. I did't want the team to be generic and be the same boring picks, the teams are usually so similar. Just ask yourself how much the scout picks actually mean to you when you're calling for my head tomorrow 😆

      Any harm in giving armband to Di Maria instead of Costa.

      Reasoning: Villa been very good defensively, got a good result vs Chelsea last season, I can smell a Hazard goal coming, Di Maria is potentially the best player in the league (par with Hazard).

      I think Aguero is the one whose very much swirling in our minds, so as a hot topic, what are non owners planning to do with regards to Aguero?

      I am playing Rooney this week, saving a FT and then going to bring Kun in if the signs are good. Thankfully he's not captain material this week and is away at Hull so it's not like QPR at the Etihad where I would feel it could be a disaster not bringing him in.
