Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

Minute this meeting via this link or set your own agenda via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I actually fancy Burnley. Leicester's bubble is set to burst.

And quite possibly. I could see a cagy 1-0 or 2-0 to Saints.

well i would actually play Moore over Clyne or Berty but that's just me and I guess you don't wanna have the headache of benching a DEF with scoring/assist potential

No, for a defence that's playing the worst offence of the PL, but I don't wanna talk you out of it 😉

Fair argument if Leicester weren't one of the worst defenses in the league.

                    😛

In retrospect I regret the Moore pick on my WC.

I'd find it very difficult psychologically to voluntarily spend a nil more on those defences than I have to, what with Wilson/Naylor.

Mata is fine for now but will probably need to go once Rooney is back. There are better options than Balotelli too, I think.

If it was me I'd play Clyne over Kaboul this week as I don't like having a striker v a defender, prefer to go all in on one team.

Do not base captain choice on being due!

Costa is the safest and thus best choice. Safe captain choices wins in the long run.
Costa will score 1 (perhaps 2) goals, and get some bonus points. He might not play the full 90 minutes this match, but that is fine. If it is a close game, he will play all match.

Falcao might score a goal or get an assist, but probably no bonus.

Ulloa is more likely to not score, but might get a goal and then probably bonus too.

every week you will see posts about hazard being "due", flat track bully, season keeper etc but most weeks end in disappointment.

    Moreno - Rafael - Moore

    Siggy - Sterling - Fab - ADM

    Costa (c) - Dzeko - Pelle

Why the love for Silva as replacement for Ramsey?

Sure, he is in an attacking team with decent fixtures, and he creates a lot of chances. Is he due? (I do not believe in the gut feeling of being due!).

But still, he has only 1 goal and 2 assists (and only 2 in bonus). Even Lampard have scored more goals!!!! And that is during 77 mins of game time.

    What am I not seeing?

Have planned Baines transfer for Moreno next week for a while now.

Starting to doubt now, shall I just get him in already or stick with Moreno for this GW?

I have a FT so no problems there.

Toughest games at home (against teams they should beat anyway) and the away games look very winnable until January.

For premium players like Silva or Aguero that's a nice long spell to rack up points.

Yeah, I don't he's going to do okay but I expect his returns to fall.
He's assisted 1/3 (of Chelsea's 18) goals - I don't think Chelsea will continue to score so many in the future honestly (6 vs Everton, 4 vs Swansea!)

Otherwise it's Di Maria out I guess..

United's fixtures stiffen up and we're yet to see how they cope with a big 4 attack. I'd be more inclined to dump ADM than Fabregas, a creative midfielder for the likely title winners.
