Christian Benteke could be set to return to the Villa squad to face City. Daniel Sturridge remains a doubt for Liverpool. The central midfield woes build for Burnley, Stoke have worries out wide for their trip to Sunderland, Hull are set to be without their number one keeper for the next month, whilst Nacho Monreal may be back for Arsenal.

Sean Dyche faces a problem in central midfield ahead of the trip to Leicester. The Burnley boss has confirmed that Dean Marney and David Jones are still unavailable, whilst Nathaniel Chalobah is also ruled out after sustaining a throat injury during a midweek reserve outing.

Christian Benteke looks set to return to the Villa squad for the first time in months. The Belgian turned out for the reserves in midweek as he steps up his recovery from an anterior ligament injury, though Paul Lambert has admitted Ron Vlaar is likely to miss out yet again as City roll up to Villa Park.

Steve Harper is set to start for Hull’s home encounter with Palace after Allan McGregor was ruled out for around four weeks with a shoulder injury.

Nacho Monreal has a chance of returning in time for Arsenal’s trip to Chelsea, Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier this morning.

Mame Biram Diouf is unavailable for Stoke this weekend after sustaining a hamstring injury in Monday’s win over Newcastle. Victor Moses is expected to shake off a minor thigh problem in time for the trip to Sunderland.

Wes Brown is available for the Black Cats once again after missing out with a calf complaint last weekend. Emmanuel Giaccherini remains a doubt for Gus Poyet’s side, though.

Brendan Rodgers has admitted he’ll have to “wait and see†over Daniel Sturridge’s fitness as Liverpool prepare to face West Brom. The Reds boss has confirmed the likes of Joe Allen, Emre Can, Jon Flanagan, Glen Johnson and Mamadou Sakho remain sidelined.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official twitter stream as breaking news unfolds.

I was in the same boat with Costa/Welbeck/Diouf, however I went with Pelle, which probably means I will have to pass on Tadic. Ulloa looks good, however hard to tell without knowing your midfield?

depending on money in the bank you could go:

          Ramsey > Boyd
          Diouf > Aguero / Pelle

          Diouf > Ulloa
          Ramsey > ADM / Silva

Vardy could be a left-field selection over Ulloa?

Ulloa is 3rd in the Poll but is very poorly ranked in the RMT function..
    Stats not looking good.

He was going to be my Capt pick but not sure now..

    Costa/Di Maria/ Sterling better options??

Leicester are used to play defensive and create counterattacks. Ulloa finds open defences so far and scores. But vs Burnley he ll probably find two or more defenders in front of him so it will be difficult. I d go for one of the others (Not Sterling vs Brom they seem to play extremely well atm)

That we do although you'd be surprised, efficiency of saving/storing water and resevoirs etc. has been very very poor at times (government to blame big time me thinks). We receive so much rain etc. yet there have been many times I've heard analysts on warning about water shortages, purely because we mustn't have enough reservoirs.

            It's all a bit silly!

I genuinely am not!!! I think it was two years ago I heard a bunch of them talking about water usage etc. here and saying if it continues to grow at the rate it was there could be shortages.

Beggars belief eh? Really it is the infrastructure that needs massive improvement.

Not to mention the money we pumped into water maintenance from taxes was used shoddily by the government. They reckon we lose 50% of ALL clean water through leaks in our pipe systems.

              Now that is shocking!

One of those things that you can't take to heart, they've obviously had people screwing the system before and have to check themselves.

Should they trust people more? Of course but then again, that's exactly what a scammer is hoping for too.

That is exactly my point as well 😉

It's much like those w@nker companies like Apple, they'll use slave labour in Foxconn facilities, they'll be aggressively litigious etc. to ensure they make their billion dollar profits. They could afford to actually pay foreign workers a fair wage but then they'd only be able to afford one swimming pool in their mansions instead of three.

Unfortunately, his form is still South of crap.

will he get out of first gear? His stats are pretty poor. Costa in the team may have aversely affected him.

Just tossed a coin for Costa v Aguero captain.

Landed on heads (aguero). So do I captain him? 😀

    The case for Siggy©

    Pros
    + Newcastle at home
+ Likely to play "in the hole"
+ Has FPL history plus a goal and 4 assists this season
+ No CL game earlier in the week
    + 4th highest owned player

    Cons
    - Has blanked in his last 3
    - Costa and Aguero are considered safer picks
    - Costa owned by practically every active team

I think the main reason why Siggy will be overlooked with the arm band is his form. Also, as the highest owned player, Costa is the safer pick, no question. But taking a closer look at form shows that while Siggy has blanked in his last 3, he has not been helped by circumstances Swansea have found themselves in.

    che - 2 pts
SOU - 2 pts (Bony sent off in the first half)
sun - 3 pts (Rangel sent off)

For me, there are valid reasons why Siggy has gone from returning 29 points in his first 3 games to 7 in his last 3, which do not necessarily suggest a dip in form.

I'm not trying to persuade anyone here. Captain Costa or Aguero, they are very good picks, but up against a woeful Newcastle at home this week, I think Siggy is still a very good option.

    Forster
    Ivanovic, Clyne, Wilson
    Downing, Sigurdsson, Fabrègas, Sterling, Silva
    Costa(C), Pellè

    Myhill, Welbeck, Duff, Wisdom

0FT left. Does this look allright?

    Begovic (Mannone)
Clyne - Lovren - Caulker (Wisdom - Davies)
Siggy - Sterling (VC) - ADM - Chadli (Wanyama)
    Costa - Aguero (C) - Ulloa

Is this a good C/VC or should i change?

Costa is safer, considering the high ownership, but Aguero might make a nice differential, and has a much easier fixture. The issue with both of these is they had CL this week already, and might be subbed at some point. Personally going for Costa, to play it safe. As for VC, I'd do Siggy maybe, as Newcastle defense isn't looking great.

At £8.4, no. He hasn't been especially good so far this season, and Liverpool doesn't seem to be creating that much. I'd rather cash in some extra for Sterling or Gerrard (if you want a differential) for Liverpool coverage.

Taking into account the form he has been in, he's a no for me at least. There's other options at that price that I figure will serve a lot better until he starts to show some form. Considering Gerrard is £.5 more, and a set piece taker with only about 5% ownership, I'd rather go down that route for differentials.

Sterling will quite likely be involved in any goal that Liverpool scores it seems, and is also only £.5 more than Lallana. Of course, as stated by Jennmenn, he is looking sharper and sharper, but I think he still needs to adapt to the team as a whole before we can expect fantasy points from him.

i was wondering bout him coz i dont have that extra,5 and i have 7.3 to buy welb. as i want someone to cover from liverpool so i thought that hes gonna be a good choice. he is on 0,6 ownership so his price wont drop and he needs just 2 good games and people will buy him i think

Fair point, but until Liverpool picks up (return of Sturridge), I think you'd be better off looking to other teams. Decent fixtures might prove me wrong though, but I'd be more inclined to opt for Henderson as a cheap alternative for Liverpool coverage. Great fitness, and works hard.

Who to bench between Welbeck, Dyer or Pelle?
I don't see Welbeck scoring big at the bridge. Dyer could quite easily notch a goal or two against Newcastle. Pelle on form and has arguably better fixture than Welbeck. So I'm thinking Welbeck. Thoughts?

Also, any risk of Mourinho gazumping us by starting Remy instead of Costa?

I'd bench Welbeck and never look back.

Pellè is looking great no matter where he plays, and Dyer is up against a weak Newcastle as you say.
