well if you're on a WC you're only gonna be picking players with high NTI's and near the top of those, so droppers don't matter much unless you own them and are intent on keeping hold.

Nowhere close yesterday. Of 35 players who fell or were predicted to fall, FPL stats were right on 2.
The most important thing is the risers imo. Now that they've pretty much nailed that part I'm sure they'll be working on fixing the dropper part of their algorithm too.
While I'm sure the people behind FPLStats are working hard to perfect the system - and I applaud their efforts - I think FPL is coming back to them too. As the wildcard numbers drop away and players change price to reset NTI/NTO numbers, the prices should become easier to predict again. The fallers maybe proving more problematic because of slower turnover and flags etc.

My TV actually went down slightly by trading Ulloa for Welbeck, even though he rose immediately. I guess its from losing half of Ulloa's 0.4 rise though.
On 103.5 it seems.so far i lost nothing on any player, and monetised 0.3 from Naismith, 0.1 from Dier & Jovetic.

Ivanovic is your man for goal threat. Essentially on top for EVERY SINGLE stat for goal threat, and he's very very close to Baines for creativity as well.
Still the best defensive option in the game, atm.

I disagree about Baines - his stats indicate that he's by far the most likely to assist, but he's not even close to being one of the most likely to score

ATM, there seems to be a lack of solid defensive options so I'd hold.
The only defensive targets at the mo seem to be Chambers and Baines. No one else really has the combination of GOod team defence + fixtures to warrant a transfer in.
Think I'd hold. His goal threat is surprisingly good for a fullbackaye, LEI up next could see some points. always the chance pardew gets sacked and pulis comes in aswell.

Nope, he's 10th among fullbacks in passes in the final 3rd. I have a Fullback table with all those kinds of stats 🙂
He's nowhere else to be found in any other attacking stat other than crosses.I don't doubt you for a second…I guess it's hard to play the numbers this early.
Not really, we're 7 games in and many trends are already very clear.
Of course, I temper any understanding of these stats with my opinions from watching games, and my opinion of Bertrand is that he's in the final 3rd often, but very rarely penetrates the box. His job is clearly to serve the ball to Pelle. Clyne on the opposite side isn't in the final 3rd as often, but when he is he's far more likely to penetrate the box - and when he does his first thought is to shoot not to pass.I do see trends…I play most of them, however, trends change…it is the premier league after all. I am playing for the long haul. I'm doing okay I suppose. I'm having fun and that's the best part of all I think. I think the fun part about the weeks in and out is the punts, it's nice to pick a Henderson on his day as opposed the usual captain Costa…but we all know, you most likely have to captain Costa.

Why do people say Aguero isn't worth 12.2? His main appeal is consistency with the occasional haul. For a striker who scores most weeks, you have to pay the price. Simple. Besides Costa, he'll be the highest scoring player - quite comfortably.

I look at it this way:
Welbeck costs 7.2, Aguero 12.2, which is about 70% more of Welbeck's price, but lets use 50% to allow for captaincy points for example. Will Aguero score over 50% more points than Welbeck? Probably not, as Aguero doesn't play all games and is taken off early a lot.
However, for the sake of debate let's assume Aguero DID score 50% more than Welbeck, is it worth it then? Still, probably not, and here's why:
That 5.0 extra budget can allow you to upgrade a 4.5 Defender (eg. Taylor) to Baines, AND upgrade a 5.0 mid (eg. Kranjcar) to Tadic. Will Baines and Tadic outscore Taylor and Kranjcar by more than what Aguero will outscore Welbeck by? Most definitely yes, and its not even close imo.
