A number of midfielders are amongst this evening’s members piece, as we take a look the in-form options at Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham. We also cast an eye over Diego Costa’s recent form, assess Sergio Aguero’s displays compared to recent campaigns and take time to assess QPR’s in-form frontman after another impressive showing in yesterday’s narrow defeat at the Bridge.

    Stupid question.

If I took a -4 tonight will that show up tomorrow after score are updated for MNF or after the start of next GW?

    Thanks

    Team for next week:

    Mannone (McCarthy)
Clyne // Bertrand // Chambers (Hutton Moore)
    ADM (c) // Sanchez // Eriksen // Siggy (Boyd)
Aguero (vc) // Costa // Welbeck

Gonna do Mannone -> Krul, regardless of whether he's dropped as his upcoming fixtures are poor. Any other pressing needs, am I missing anyone else? Need advice to break into top 100k, haven't had a great start to the season.

Hey, people. I would love some help with this conundrum. I've managed to plan badly and put myself 0.1 out of the range for Sterling -> Di Maria and Welbeck -> Sakho.

Is there any other forward worth actually trading Welbeck out for, in order to make this happen, or should I just go with something else?

Sanchez is a great player, but he isn't this year's Bale. Once Walcott and eventually Giroud are back in the mix, Arsenal's attacking returns will be shared much more evenly

an Arsenal in full fitness could be worth trebling up on:

Giroud - always among the goals, even if he is a donkey
      Walcott
      Ozil
      Sanchez
      Ramsey

And if the defence was to return to last years form too...

That might prove true but you risk dismissing a player who's in a rich vein of form.

Bedsides, nothing stops him from continuing to rack up the points when Wally & Giroud return to action.
I'd like to have him but not at the expense of my defense. He's hard to ignore but you can't have them all.

I think people got a bit carried away with him to be honest. Yes he was scoring frequently but often in those games that was his only contribution hence the low BPS (I'm an Arsenal fan and was surprised by his lack of involvement) 29 of his 56 points came in two games suggesting he is more volatile than people want to believe. I think the frequency of the goals is good but lack of all round game harms him as a fantasy prospect. He is certainly nowhere near the level of Suarez last season or RVP 2/3 years ago. Even now when Aguero scores you know he is nailed on for BPS generally.

Would completely ruin the game, it'd make it a pay to win sort of thing.

Well, that's a fair reflection of the Premier League nowadays I guess..

The game is never that serious to spend actual cash. But that's just me.

Well my mates and I have a bet on our league, so that is sorta spending actual cash. Not for me though Im winning 😆

Agree that it would ruin the game, but plenty would pay if reasonably priced.

Would love for some suggestions! Not sure what to do. 1FT, 0.0M ITB

    Guzan
    Baines Clyne Wisdom
Sanchez (v) Di Maria Fabregas Sigurdsson
    Welbeck Aguero (C) Pelle

    Bench: Dummet, Moore, Marney

      Moves I would be contemplating...

      Welbeck > Sakho / Berahino
      Guzan > Adrian
      Siggy > Downing

If money is really no big object, would you get in Chadli or Eriksen for Sterling now?

Brain says Eriksen, but Chadli just seems to always be in the goals.

      No help

Gotta be Chadli. That extra cash difference could do wonders for your team. Plus, Chadli looks like he will end the season as one of Spurs top FPL midfielders.

        Definitely not going there.

Eriksen always looks better, Chadli just seems headless sometimes. But I am worried about Eriksen's minutes.

I would have kept Sterling, had he not been stuck out wide doing sweet -nothing- all match against Newcastle.

        (Horrible decision by Rodgers imo)

Right then, let's spit it out.

    How essential is Sanchez?

Worth a 4pt hit to get?

Even if that involves selling Tadic or Dai Maria?

I told myself Sterling to Sanchez wasn't worth -4 this week

      Lost me 10 points.

I'd dump Tadic for sure. He's had his explosion and his good fixtures are drying up

depends on how much you think he's going to rise. I think you should hold off one more week if you can eat the rises-you know di maria and tadic will punish you if you get rid of one of them.

He does look extremely dangerous though
