Newcastle have worries in defence as they head to Burnley. Arsenal have concerns at left-back for the home clash against Southampton, who are set to be without Morgan Schneiderlin. Enner Valencia returns as the Hammers head to the Hawthorns, Yun Suk-Young could be poised to recover for QPR, whilst Stoke have a midfield headache ahead of their visit to Old Trafford.

Wojciech Szczesny remains sidelined for Arsenal’s home clash with Southampton. Arsene Wenger has also confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal are all doubts, though hopes to have one of the latter two available to feature at left-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin has been ruled out of the Emirates clash and is set for adductor scans. Jack Cork is back for Ronald Koeman’s side, though, after recovering from a weekend illness.

Mark Noble is a doubt for the Hammers’ trip to West Brom later this evening after suffering a recurrence of a calf complaint during the weekend win over Newcastle. Enner Valencia is back in the squad after missing the last two matches though injury, though fellow forward Diafra Sakho is still unavailable. Winston Reid returns after serving a one-match suspension.

Gary Monk has confirmed that Swansea have no new injury worries ahead of the home clash against QPR. Nathan Dyer is set to return to the squad after missing out at the weekend.

Steve Sidwell (knee) could be out for up to six weeks for the Potters, whilst Glenn Whelan is expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a calf complaint. Phil Bardsley is back in training after recovering from the illness that forced him to miss the weekend trip to Liverpool.

Newcastle are facing a mounting injury crisis in defence for the trip to Burnley. Alan Pardew is already without Tim Krul and Fabricio Coloccini and is now sweating over the fitness of Mike Williamson, Massadio Haidara and Daryl Janmaat. With Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback serving one-match suspensions, the Magpie manager has revealed he has included three youth team players in his matchday squad.

Sebastien Pocognoli is a doubt for West Brom after sustaining a dead leg at the weekend. James Morrison is back in training and will be assessed for the visit of West Ham.

Leicester’s David Nugent is set to be assessed after picking up an ankle problem at the weekend. The Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has also confirmed that Dean Hammond is back in training but tonight’s match is set to come too soon.

Harry Redknapp remains optimistic that Yun Suk-Young will recover from the knee knock that forced him off in the weekend win over Leicester. Bobby Zamora could also be in contention – he requires a late fitness test after missing out on Saturday with a back problem.

Mamadou Sakho is back in training for Liverpool but this evening’s trip to Leicester will come too soon. Mario Balotelli is sidelined once again with a groin injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Think I'm doing Di Maria > Siggy tonight. Any better options?

Got Cesc, Sanchez and Downing. Can't fit another Chelsea player in, money no object.

Not even close, but hes vastly improved the last 3-4 games. And im not even talking about the goals hes scored. Must be on a diet or something, maybe Kolo`s shipped his pills over.

Any suggestions for this week? 1FT 0.6m in the bank. Holding Costa. Would like to do Bert > Azpi, but would need a hit to do it.

    Krul Foster
    Bertrand Baines Wilson Chambers Hutton
    Haz Sanchez Siggy Downing King
    Austin Costa Aguero

I'm considering it, and you may be right. Annoying Boyd finally made the 0.1 back, as King > Boyd would have given me an extra playing midfielder, and given me the 0.1 I need for Bert > Azpi, which would have been worth a hit for me. I'm wanting to drop Wilson, but taking a hit for 2 defensive switches isn't often productive.

    Moore to;
    A) Hutton
    B) Wisdom
    C) Pocognoli
    D) Yun

    Rest of defence is;
    Begovic - Elliot
    Baines - Terry - Naylor - Saylor - X

Probably planning on Begovic to either Guzan or Foster next week also.

    Krul Elliot
    Chambers Saylor Hutton Clyne/Wisdom
    Sanchez ADM** Sigurdsson Downing
    Costa Aguero Rooney(c)

    0.7 in the bank.

Perhaps. My perception of Chelsea this season has been that theyre prone to errors leading to goals/chances which should have been easily avoided. Mourinho is a defensive mastermind though.

I rather be a week late than a few weeks early with Sterling.

Not until Liverpool can start finishing their chances.

Does anyone see SPurs getting anything off CHelsea? Think I may bench Chadli even if he's fit.

I'm not only benching him, but doubling on Chelsea defence...

Understandable. Next week on could be a different story though

Indeed. But his returns have been so sub par that I'm not worried if he has one or two good weeks every now and then. I'll take the short term ranking hit.

Yeah maybe. 2 goals in his last 3 games. Not too shabby still. Expect him to kick on now

Highly unlikely. Expect Spurs to roll over as usual against the big teams

How much of an impact (negative or positive) do we expect Miralles' return to have on Baines?

Do people think the brief and early indications against Tottenham suggest less scope for Baines to score points? Not just from open play, as - while he'll still be on pens - Baines didn't appear to be taking corners against Spurs.

If Baines' attacking potential is likely to be curtailed, who suggests them-self as a viable alternative.

    Thoughts?

Keep Baines. Most of his assists haven't been from set pieces anyway.

I don't think Baines will be curtailed. Possibly a combination of many factors - fresh off hamstring injury hence focus on attacking down the right, Baines off corners to prevent excessive sprinting if a counter is on the cards etc etc.

      Would still keep Baines.

I dont see Baines`s potential beeing scuffed by Mirallas at all.

The presence of Mirallas has never determined Baines potential to earn points and I don't see that changing

I suspect there's an over-reaction to Mirallas' effect on Baines. He still has his CS points, on free-kicks and takes penalties. He might make less runs from deep but doesn't that mean a more solid defensive display at the back?

Bedsides, you pay the extra for the FKs and PKs anyway and Mirallas in the team doesn't change that.

Every Everton attacking player is negatively affected by Mirallas. He's the greediest player in the league and will waste opportunities.

Double Chelsea defence in Azip and Ivan? It means no Baines.

Like a spread of teams across my backline. Baines has form. I think Baines and Ivan is a nice combo
