Simon Mignolet returns between the posts this evening, whilst new boys Emre Can, Javier Manquillo and Alberto Moreno are all handed starts as Steven Gerrard joins Mario Balotelli on the bench.

Gylfi Sigurdsson’s away displays have afforded his owners cause for concern – the playmaker has blanked in six successive appearances outside of the Liberty and has failed to earn any attacking returns on the road since the season opener at United.
