Before we draw a line firmly under the first Gameweek, we’ve decided to analyse some individual performances over the weekend. By looking at the Opta stats of Fernando Torres, we can see what his Sunday showing at the Britannia offered in comparison to his average displays for the Blues last term. The same applies to Robin Van Persie- no goals from the Dutchman at St James on Saturday night, but how did his game hold up?

In this first Members article of the active Fantasy season, we also take a look at Victor Moses and Ashley Young’s Man United league debut, weighing up what the pair’s new roles this season have offered so far…

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

This time the game is Pinball, and Kirby will have to face King Dedede and his bosses who guard the three Pinball Lands. In order to defeat King Dedede and his three bosses, Kirby becomes a pinball. This allows him to fight effectively in the Pinball Lands -- each a magical land with all kinds of tricks and bonuses!

horrible horrible midfield. you've basically got 3 DM in Mikel, Etuhu and Yaya. Yaya choice has a bit of merit, but i suspect when aguero comes in with Dzeko up front he will drop deeper. Cashley, Baines, Kompany = 21.5 mill from 3 defenders. thats were all your moneys gone. you can have one of cashley and baines but not both. Sorry to say but i think you need to go back to the drawing board...

That's not to say a DM would not score well with the new BP systems in a good team? The EA Index states that it is pass completion, not slide rule/60 yarders that split defences, that will be recognised. A tidy DM may well profit. I don't disagree with you, just putting it on the table. There are better options however!

true but you do not invest in players based upon the oppurtunity of them receiving bonus. it can been an added bonus, but you'll get no where with players who get the odd bonus point or 2. which is what will occur with etuhu and mikel.. Tim if you were seriously considering starting etuhu over moses I worry.

very similar to mine. exact same forward line. no glaring faults, although im looking at sinclair over ohara. could argue midfield needs one more higher scorer, although sess could be better than any option between 6.5-9. but yeah like it.

OK 2 conundrums for me. If I play warnock (no given) then that means I cant get brown/ senderos/ STaylor..

If I get sessignon, it means I can not have ohara, brunt and sinclair.

2 of the 3 6m's would have to change to accomodate sess. Which would leave Hoolihan/ Tchoyi/ Cleverley.

    What would you do?

The trouble is the two most likely to be dropped for Ivan (Alex or Bos) BOTH played excellently at Stoke. It's too hard to call but my gut says AVB will stick with Bosingwa for the next few games to give them more attacking potential down the right flank.

I also havent got Enrique so I'm more than happy to go Bos>Enrique when it becomes clear he wont play anymore (more than likely at the weekend knowing my luck)

It's nice but plenty of transfers to work out over the next few weeks. No Man City, Arsenal or United players?? You're gonna want to wildcard again by GW4!

with having the big hitters in place, something has to give and I am content that I have the players with better fixtures over the next few week. 2 freebies come gw 4 when we will know much more on form players and teams. Agree though, wildcard may have to come into use (/ got out of the way!)

Why are you worried about malouda being a rotation risk? he's been a nailed on starter for chelsea for a while now has he not?

Yeah but he went off the boil towards the end of last season and was utter cack against Stoke....I think a lot of people are just afraid of getting burnt again, especially at 10.5mill a pop!

i'd go with 1, silva scored last week but doesn't score many, malouda more of a goal getter and i'm not convinced by the torres bandwagon either

      (B) 🙂
      But there's advantages for both.
      (A) is on free kicks (potentially...last week he dint take em if I remember). He's in the box on corners. And chelsea are bound to be solid at the back.
      (B) - I picked him cause he is a wing defender (much more freedom to move forwards and possibly score highly from assists). He is also cheaper. And he has a bloody good shot on him.

        Good input 🙂

You are not at all worried about the Ivanovic factor? Cause if I suspected Bos was nailed on I would be straight in there. Alex is only my current option due to the safety factor.

Well Alex is only in there till Luiz is fit (or so I seem to think) ... But Bosingwa was outstanding, so I cant see AVB changing too much at the back...they looked pretty solid 🙂

Trying to gather peoples thoughts on Everton & Chelsea, especially the midfield area!!

Who would you pick from Evertons Midfield for this weekends game??

Do you think Chelsea have a nailed on starter in midfield after Lamps and Malouda?

    Cheers!

For Everton the only one I would be tempted with is Osman/Arteta but seen as the latter is only just getting back to fitness thats a risk.

As for Chelsea I think that Rameires is the only other nailed on starter for them and he's not exactly a points machine at the moment.

It's half a dozen of one, 6 of the other I am afraid.

I know! I was looking at Cahill, maybe even making him captain for this week but he is expensive, especially if he doesn't start. Arteta would be ideal but may not be fit!? Annoying!

Alex or Boswinga? Who will be dropped if Ivanovic gets back in the team?

In a perfect world I would be going for Cahill...but way to risky for me.

As for the Alex/Bosingwa debate I am stumped, look at above posts.

    G’day Fellas,

    your thoughts on this squad

    Midfield – N’zogbia, Moses, Taarabt, Silva(c), Surman
    Attack – Torres, Zamora (Hollet)

spent way to much in your backline. dont like doubling up on chelsea defenders. this has resulted in a sub par midfield and a forward that only contains 1 big hitter, with most teams going with 3! i'd say you need to have atleast 2 out of rooney, torres, bent, aguero, suarez.

is that on the basis of bonus points...also out of rooney/bent/aguero/suarez - who would u say would be likely to start and score this gw...cheers for the thoughts

i believe they will all start, aguero is the only questionable one but I dont see how mancini will bench him inless he is forced too. Most likely to score? bit of a lottery, im very confident bent will score, and also confident suarez against a depleted arsenal defence will put atleast one in the back of the net.

Bent is the most likely to score i think

Im banking on Carroll to score against Arsenal

              Alrite...cheers boys...herz the reformed squad:

              Hart

              Richards, Bosingwa, Jagielka (Huth, Briggs)

Silva (c), N'zogbia, Moses, Taarabt (Surman)

              Torres, Suarez, Zamora

Silva as captain, looked petty sharp last week but Y.Toure was good as well...donno abt which 1 to pick now...or Torres/Suarez as captain?
