As if out of sympathy for the Fantasy Premier League, or podcast recording software crashed at the death this week. Finished. Kaput.

Panic ensued – hands on head there were cries of “I can’t go through that again” from host Mark as I desperately attempted to recover our lost words. Luckily, temporary files restored, our fifty fourth episode was rescued and rebuilt like Ledley King’s knee. Hopefully it won’t collapse again next week – like Ledley King’s knee.

Within it you’ll find unusually muted tones as Mark and I dissect the events or rather “non-events” of the weekend. Frustrations vented, this week’s broadcast picks up to its usual pace and departs on an optimistic note.

      Fabio is a bit risky - Ferdinan might be back , and if he plays it could be ferdinand and jones in the middle, and smelling on right for united.

      Aguero might not start, but will certainly play at least 30 min....And manchini said they have not decided between hilario and the other chelsea keeper yet...

      He was on the bench. Probably just giving other players game time against lesser opponents. No reason to think he wont start in the Prem though.

          In first 2 u have captaincy option and a bench folder when needed. It depends what do u need for your team.

          Regarding Malouda I fully expect for him to be rotated when Sturridge will be eligible and there is a reason why AVB is trying to sign a winger. Malouda maybe only for the next 2 GW's IMO

          Nani at home is probably better this time around.

          Could do pretty well, I'm not sold on City defence at the moment though!

        Defensive options. I'm torn on the "Baines" factor. I watched him a lot last season and everything went through him, as the points showed. But Everton rarely kept a clean sheet and it was quite late on in the season before they got their first penalty, April time i think.

        I have two defensive options. Any comments:

        Option A

        Baines Kompany Brown Simpson and Woodgate

        or

        Option B

        Kompany Enrique Warnock Smalling and Simpson

              Wouldn't go near him at that price. Everton were surprisingly leaky last season so you are so reliant on his attacking threat, which is excellent, but I just don't trust Everton enough to warrant this investment. 1-0 QPR wouldn't surprise me at all.

              He'll play. He was probably our best player last week and his attacking threat will be crucial. He is far more threatening than Cashley, who doesnt advance with real conviction. Bos came close to scoring a few times.

            Still a risk though. And pointless. Cech could well be back for Sunderland, which over 3 weeks away due to the international break. Then you will need to make a change. And all for maximum 12 points that Given could well achieve.
