Our Members got the first round of ICT Index Data at the weekend, enabling them to assess the statistical performance of players across three crucial disciplines – Influence, Creativity and Threat.

Week by week we’ll be using this data to analyse teams and players in an attempt to aid Fantasy team selection. Our first article for Gameweek One turns the attention away from City’s sparkling 4-0 win over Swansea and looks to the reigning Champions, examining how Alex Ferguson’s men performed in their 2-1 win at West Brom and assessing the key performers on show ahead of their Monday night meeting with Spurs in Gameweek two.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Which two to play this week from:

    Brown (NEW)
    Enrique (ars)
    Senderos (wol)
    Kompany (bol)

Slightly worried about an abundance of YCs in the Tyneside derby.

    Comments are welcome.

impossible to tell without the other squad members.

At first glance I'd say both are not great. Why have a stoke defender at all at the mo? Why have a player that won't play (Ferguson).

I'm not lazy its just I can't be arsed to look at the ones above then cross reference them with the next stage of your team.

May get more advice if you do a traditional Rate My Team with the whole 15 in one post.

But if you think that stokes's fixtures are good - away to west brom, home to liverpool, away to sunderland then home to man utd - then I doubt you will except any of my advice.

    RMT please.

    Hilario (Vorm)
Baines, Warnock, Brown (De Laet, Simpson)
Lamps. N Zog, Sinclair, Sess (Moses)
    Rooney, Torres, Holt

I ignored City for 2 GW's and I have 0.5 if needed for Yaya instead of N Zog. I ignored Bent after a lot of tinkering. And my biggest call was Baines at the back instead of Timmy Cahill in mid and I would love to make a punt on him ATM.

    Thoughts?

It won't be from Carroll I'm pretty sure of that. Downing won't be able to get off like he did last match, Suarez will have his way, hell he may even get a PK shout again.

I like it, but you definitely should think about reevaluating the Fat Frank shout. Yes he gets forward, but he gets forward less than Yaya, and, to me...I can't see myself hoping some schmuck gets brought down in the box later in the game. I would like my chances with N'Zogs AND Yaya as opposed to a Frank & 5.5+ midfielder.

      Slick name title...me likey!

Anyone planning on taking Nasri, he's sure to start what might be his final Arsenal match...I think he puts on a show, and leaves it all on the field.

It looks a good solid team, don't really like your keeper combo though but it depends when you'll wildcard - if you wildcard around GW11 you'll probably have to play Vorm for che, STK, nor, wol, BOL - I think Given and Ruddy pair up nicer and think it's worth paying the extra 0.5m for.

Hilario - Are you sure he'll start?

Def is solid, all bankers to start.
N'Zog will do nothing - he's too fat after a full summer of eatting pies.
Sinclair, I'm not sold, think he'll struggle in teh prem and Swansea will be relegated.
      Holt - Zamora
      N'Zog - Hoolan

buying T Cahill right now is bonkers, he's the second highest owned player (just) behind Suarez and faces Chelski this weekend... Bonkers... Maybe when the mighty Kop sign him 😉

Actually I'd wait as well because everyone that wanted him has him (regardless of fixture) and once he doesn't live up to expectations and people see the s**tty fixures they have he and Klasnic will be sold en masse. Hopefully his price deflates?

    Given, Hilario
    Enrique, Hughes, Brown, Dunne, Simpson,
    NZogbia, Arteta, Taarabt, Sinclair, Moses,
    Rooney, Torres, Suarez.

I have 1M in the bank, would you change Arteta to Cahill? I’m thinking about keeping an EVE midfielder for a while, so it’s for long term and I have ideas to spend that 1M somewhere else… Also, short term: would you go with Taarabt or Osman? Will Senderos start in the Premier League again, could save 0.5 on him instead of Hughes.

Lampard and captain him, as much as it pains me to say it, without Cech in goal we will concede a lot more and added to that, Essien's absence makes us a much much weaker team defensively, and offensively, so Lampard would be the better pick. Has a good record at the Bridge too, so it's not much of a risk, he's too expensive for me but I think he'll do well.

They are worth a punt, the bookies don't seem to favour Liverpool and most have oddds of 2/1... THink they'll lose a bit on that, I put £40 on a Kop win by more 2 goals or more 🙂

      Of course he'd say that.

Realistically he, and most of us that he know well that his team could snatch 3 points here.

this boys are going to win me money, and lots of it.

    Hilario (Vorm)
Warnock Kompany Baines (simpson, de Laet)
    Walters Jarvis Yaya Moses (Brunt)
    Bent Torres Roonpig

given in at some point, maybe luiz for chelsea defence when it settles down. aguero probly week4. I reckon Brunt is gonna be killer after this weekend.

Hilario is all well and good in the short term but what our your plans when Cech's fit left relying on Vorm only? You would change your team around for a keeper?

yeh given in week 6 i think. and downgrade Baines cos his fixtures looking minging by then.

Whats the craic with bosingwa? do people really think he can hold RB down ahead of ivanovic? im not convinced but golly is he good value.

    A: Mikel + 3.0m in the bank
    B: Yaya + 0m

If Mikel doesn't play one of Moses or Taarabt will be 1st on bench.

Just shuffled out N'Zogs for Tim Cahill at the expense of shifting Hillario down to Vorm (who I would have started over Given this week).

Good move or short-sighted giving up on NZogs after one bad week?

Also still debating Rooney or Aguero.

    Current team:

    Given (Vorm)
    Komp Brown Alex (Enrique Hughes)
    Cahill Young Moses Sess (Taarabt)
    Aguero Saurez Zamora

          My rankings.....
Based on Pedigree, Form, Fixtures, penalty takers, gaurenteed 90 mins etc...
Rooney, Bent and Torres all have 2 HOME games in a row.
The latter 2 against bottom 6 opposition!

No, and my history ain't bad. I could be wrong, but there is nothing that anyone on here actually knows for sure. Often, my punts have worked very well.

Last year I transferred in Carroll for GW2. Hat-trick.
I brought in A Young on the back of a terrible run and he got 2 goals and assist.

Sometimes it pays to have a gamble.
