Pretty Livid about Pen incident but I love Baines.
This is my 5th season in FPL and I have captained him 16 times now got right on 9 occasions (6 or more points) including braces against West Ham and West Brom.
don't think 6 or more points is a legit threshold for captaincy success, its whether there was anyone else on your team that did better or not.
He was highest scorer most times.
3 of those times he had assists 4 times goals, I just said 6 to say a number mostly it was double digit, his late equalizers vs Wigan n Stoke and once a double assists vs Blackpool. I truly don't believe in NBNC Baines theoryfair enough although i go with the NO Baines theory, just too expensive for a defender, but it seems whenever i've owned him is during his dry spells
Baines is probably the only defender who requires patience because he is more about attack.
There are plenty of other players like him but in other positions you see with Oscar Eriksen they are right up there in scoring charts but very hard to predict their points.
Similar is Rooney, he always ends up with good no. of points but not much consistent in recent years

Glad that Baines got a clean sheet which justified my decision to get him back in for Zabaleta, but annoyed that Miracles stole his penalty and missed.
Although of course there's no guarantee Leighton would have scored it.
Also a little annoyed that I didn't back my instinct and put Wisdom on the pitch ahead of Bertrand after I'd promoted him from 3rd bencher to 1st bencher contrary to RMT suggestions, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.plenty of people benched him, I know some with 2 WBA defs on bench
Baines has missed one premier league penalty. He probably would have buried it. Not to make you feel bad but it is a bit much that it was taken from him

Please RMWCT. I know it is little bit different but still. I kind of struggle about the 4th mid. I love a lot of defenders so practically I spend a little bit extra at the back. Will play like that next month and than will reassess.

Well probably but those teams have wonderful fixtures till the end and are in quite defensive form. Where would you spend it, if not in the defense? I really struggle to spend it in other players.
