Members Area and ICT Updated – Gameweek Two

The Members Area has had its final stats update following the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Those digesting the data from today’s earlier kick-offs can now drown in all the stats, including updated ICT Index scores for the Gameweek so far.

Members should click on the “Latest Gameweek” tab on the dashboard to view this week’s top 10’s and use the Gameweek filter dropdown to select “Current Gameweek” when viewing the stats tables. ICT Index scores are available via the Fantasy Index tab in the Player tables.

Just as we did for Gameweek one, Members can read on for our take of the performances of note to this point…

      For Forwards then goals and shots on target seem to be important.

      For Mids then goals and critical passes (The ones that create goal scoring opportunities) seem to be important.

      For Defenders then clean sheets and important blocks seem to be important.

      And put those into a blender along with a win, place in oven and cook on gas mark 3 for 90 minutes and you have your BPs. 🙂

          You want someone to go through all the numbers after rewatching all the games today and give you their guesstimation of BPs for each game?

              Mark mentioned that my posts on the Scout ICT index were up the wrong drainpipe.

              However, he mentioned that the Influence score was the likelier indicator of boni.

              Both Bent and Agbon scored 100 for Influence so they must be in line for something.

              The clear trend is goalscorers and assisters. Hence the need to cheapen the defence and get Bergo and Given.

                Meh, I had Vorm and Begovic most of the week with Vorm starting GW2.

                Then swapped Begovic back for Given on Friday night and put Vorm on bench. Such is life.

                Just think too, as it stands right now £8.5m gets you the top 2 keepers in FPL!

          Would hope so, but it's unlikely. With the old system he would probably get 1 or 2.

          Everton were denied a 100% clear pen which he would take and that pen was denied by a ref who gave 4 pens in his 6 games before that 🙁 But what hurts even much more is his freekick - 1 inch lower would make him a scorer. And I honestly don't think Everton would concede then, so even without pen (or assist that was very close lately) he could realistically end on 15 🙁

            Connolly's was a similar challenge to the one that Kieron Richardson did on Suarez last week and no penalty was given for that one either.

            So, maybe refs are getting tougher with forwards going down in the box too easily???

            Shaun Derry was immense yesterday. Old system would probably have given him some bap love too for being on away team keeping clean sheet and making vital challenges.

        Liverpool have Bolton at home next week.

        I'd see how Bolton's defence hold up against Man C and definitely consider moving Suarez in now with all things considered.

        Also depends on if you have more pressing weaknesses in your team to address too.

        Yep, so on the back of that, Suarez has had 7506 transfers in and over the the few years I've been playing a 0.1 rise comes in at between 20,000 and 30,000.

        Consequently, you could get a Suarez transfer in at base cost if done straight after the Man C game. I'd say you'd have to be quick tho.

        This should have been tacked on the post a couple up above of course.

      Simply put, it all depends on how well they do Nd the number of teams that transfer them in.
      Do on that note currently Saurez has circa 45% of the players in the game having him in their team so his rise might not be as much as say Bent if people take a punt on him.

        really hard to see how ppi algrythms work yet - but moses would have had 4 bonuses over 2 games with last yrs system..

        however playing the new system is just as fun - if a little harder -

        knee jerk recomendation.... torres to suarez (you can all use this pearl of wisdom - that i am sure no one has done yet or has thought of doing)

      I don't have him. But if I did I'd start him. Too early after 2 games to be getting rid of a top striker with tasty fixtures ahead of him.

      Though I expect loads will transfer him out now for Shane Long and then moan when Chelsea cut Norwich a new one next week and Torres has a double digit points game.

              When people were looking for advice I said I had a hard time getting rid of Lamps and that I was going with Rooney as my big hitter.

              I don't have Torres because I feel safer with Lamps. My point was that if I did have FT I would look at seeing what he does at home against Norwich before I throw him out.

              He could fail in that game, he could score big. None of us know, but it's probably as favourable a matchup as he's going to get all season until they play Blackburn!

                Surely the best advice to give would be to play someone who is definitely starting next week or is in form. Either or. Torres is neither now after his terrible display yest, and now people that hang onto him are at risk of losing value.

                Wholesale changes shouldn't be made but deadwood should be cut. If he scores next week i'd still regard him as a failure. I was expecting 3 goals min over these 2 fixtures. Thats why you pay the premium. Bent looks a better bet and the game even gives him and assist when it was far from that.

          Because they werent home to west brom and then norwich in back to back games and virtually guaranteed to start the first.

          The pundits and near enough everyone on here raved about his performance last week so big things were expected. He has flopped. Majorly. I just feel for those who got so carried away as to captain him.

          And if you don't like moaning i suggest you turn off your computer or at the very least don't come onto a fantasy football site.

      Out. Angry with myself for getting him. Watched the first game and thought he tried hard without threatening but then got swept away in all the hype. Again in this game he tried hard to get involved, came deep, went out wide but barely had a shot to speak of. It's true he isn't playing that badly but I would rather have Suarez at home to Bolton. But easier for me though as I have Malouda as well for Chelsea cover.

        I have Lamps.

        I'm not saying Torres will be a massive points scorer this season but he has Norwich at the Bridge next week. Surely if you have him you at least want to play him in that game?

        If he fires blanks then, well, you have the whole international break to decide what you want to do with him. At £11m you don't need to make multiple transfers or use a WC just to change him.

        That's all I'm saying.

          Well done on having Lamps, that was the sensible option. Would anybody be surprised if Drogba started against Norwich? Also, I expect Torres to drop in price and Suarez to rise and I want a piece of that. Frankly I think Suarez will outscore Torres next week and I want a piece of that as well.

        Get rid. If you had cheaper alternatives like Bent, Suarez, Fletcher etc they are all better than the girly headed f***. You had faith to put him in for this (easy) gameweek. I will be shocked if he starts next week when anelka was electric and drogba dangerous.

    To me, the first few month are (almost) as much about building team value as points. With this in mind I am thinking:

    Baines > Bosingwa
    Torres > someone (prob Aguero) to avoid price drop on Torres

        Agreed, I unlike many did pretty well but Baines was unlucky, as I posted earlier, I can't bring myself to watch the highlights as Cahills misscwas supposed to be a shocker(had Timmy C ) as well...grrrrrrrrrr

      Give them a chance, its only 2nd GW and Baines has only played 1 game.
