Have just 9 players starting if (PVA starts) as it is..Got rid of Eriksen this GW for Yaya. I was going to be real hard done by for the GW27 blank, so thought I'd move one of the players out early. Plus, I really thought the Man City game would pretty much go exactly as it did today. Especially the going up big and allowing Aguero to get off at around the 60-minute mark. The only part of my prediction that failed was that Yaya would have absolutely no part in the attacking points. Now Eriksen will likely score, maybe twice. Toss an assist in there. Ugggghhhh, this season.
I think that decision to bring in Yaya sums up this season. Sanchez at home to Leicester, could go on with the examples of sensible decisions which don't pan out. Yaya could have had points if bony stuck his chance away. Sonetimes got to take them on the chin. I dont own Eriksen if fpl but in other games so I would appreciate if your curse will happen!
Ha ha. You seem to understand my pain. I could go on and on about the woes of this season, but I really don't want to sound like I'm just arranging arguments to fit a "woe is me" profile. It's just the darned truth that I have had about as little fortune in the game this season as I can remember. I mean, week in and week out I have differentials that are top notch players....and week in and week out, they fail me on the whole. It's honestly just getting weird at this point.
It all makes me wonder just how much an FPL manager deserves when they are doing well (even if it's myself), because in the end, I'm starting to think it's about 80% luck. This season, at least. I certainly can't remember a season where who was going to start and how many minutes they were going to get in any given game was so up in the air.
On a bit of a high, 6 green arrows in a row and into about 38k place after today's matches. Already looking forward to strategy for GW27/28. Below is my current lineup for 27.

I'm also considering the was to haidara. Raylor did make an appearance so might be worth checking closer to the time if there is word on him starting. So Williamson is a more likely replacement for me
