After a frenetic Deadline Day Tuesday that saw an abundance of big-name moves, such as Nikica Jelavic to Everton (massive), the Dugout Discussion returns to complete Gameweek 23. We’ve got five more Premier League fixtures to pour over tonight, but with most of the big-hitters on show yesterday, fantasy points may be a little thin on the ground.

We start at Villa Park with a slightly earlier kick-off, where Alex McCleish’s side play host Mark Hughes’ Queens Park Rangers. The other four games get under way on the hour, including the televised game at the Stadium of Light between Sunderland and Norwich City (definitely worth watching ahead of Valencia Vs. Barcelona).

There’s also Blackburn Rovers versus Newcastle United, Arsenal travel to the Reebok Stadium to face Bolton Wanderers, and a Bobby Zamora-less Fulham welcome the visit of Roy Hodgson’s West Bromich Albion.

  Despite the success of the 5 I'm trying to stick with my original plan of two budget players (most likely Sigurdsson and Moses) to rotate for my 4th midfield spot, as the other 3 midfielders and 3 strikers will be playing every week.
  
  Currently got 4 of the 5 (apart from Sess) and am thinking of dropping Valencia (we have a tricky run next 4 gameweeks). Seeing them rack up the points makes it tough though.

  I really should have learnt. I know I could be accused of jumping the gun writing the CS off with 15 GWs to go, but we've had 23 already and if anything it's got worse. We rely on their home CS, like they did last year, and they've been so unpredictable. And in rotation you need predictability.

Ahhh just had a haircut and a shower.

Feels much better. May... have been taking FPL too seriously there for a while.

Krul's last penalty save came in GW14 at home to Chelsea. That week I decided to play Vorm over Krul. Vorm was away to Blackburn and got 0 points as Yakubu scored 4 including a penalty. This week Krul gets a penalty save and a CS away to Blackburn while I chose to play Vorm who, funnily enough, was at home to Chelsea.

I WC'd this week, had Raylor and Krul on my benc, and still managed 70 pre-bonus so can't complain, but oh so close to even more. Taiwo seemed to start off well, so bringing him in for Senderos and hope Citeh deliver some goals at home this weekend.

rvp, ade, sturridge...

given the fixtures i really want augero and ba in my team..

sturridge > Ba
ade > augero
benarfa > moses (too many newcastle players and wigan have good fixtures)
enrique > wilkson (only way i can afford above transfers, liverpools fixtures aint great)

anyone want to convince me otherwise?

i'm in the top 5,000...but this will be a needed 8 point hit?
