We delve into the Gameweek 5 data this evening in our first members article of the week. Wayne Rooney’s new role for United comes under analysis, as do Burnley and Leicester’s displays up front, whilst a couple of north London-based frontmen are also placed under the microscope after their contrasting weekend performances.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Forster - (Gilks)
Terry - PvA - Moore (Coloccini) (Ferdinand)
Fabregas - Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy (Marney)
    Costa (c) - Rooney - Pelle

    1 FT - £1.0 in the bank

Think I need Di Maria, Ramsey the likely transfer out
Would you take a hit to upgrade Ferdinand/Coloccini to Duff or is my defense okay for this GW?

Ramsey out before the derby is madness.

Yes ozil took his place last game but that's no guarantee he won't be put back next game.

Not owning Di Maria is scary, but your right Ramsey has the potential to score a decent amount of points on Saturday

On Wildcard lads, some final touches

    A) Baines, Azpilicueta, Moore/Wisdom

    B) Jagielka, Lovren, Azpilicueta

    C) Baines, Lovren, Wilson

Schmeichel / Foster (very good rotation)

Chambers, Duff , XXX, XXX, XXX

ADM, Fabregas, Sterling, Siggy , Ramsey

    Costa, Welbeck, Ulloa

    Thanks

Im having the same problem. The problem I think with this choice is that every week you have a benching issue.

with injuries, cards, rotation issues, last minute injuries (like sanchez this week) a strong bench is a must

Could disagree more! I hate an a benching dilemma, what's more I can count on two fingers in eight years playing this game when I'd wished to have 'strong' bench. You want as much as possible in your first 11

You need a saints defender in there. Clyne/Bertrand, Azpi, Moore. Baines is good if he gets you attacking points (penalty this weekend) however Everton have been swiss cheese for clean sheets. Liverpool, Man U and Aston Villa up next. Would be surprised for a clean sheet against any of them.

I had double Southampton all last year with Lovren/Fonte and they raked in the points for me. Ride it until it slows. Both Clyne and Bertrand have proven to be an attacking threat too. Clyne with the wingback and Bertrand with most touches in the offensive third of a defender. Otherwise I think your team is very strong. I don't think this issue will make or break you. Take a chance.

I'm in a similar boat. Would expect Balo to outscore both Welbeck and Falcao over the next two. C probably depends on whether you have other issues in your squad and therefore if the 2 transfers could be better used elsewhere.

Not concerning at all imo. Away to Chelsea then a red card for his team the following fixture. Give him 2-3 more to deliver otherwise consider shifting.

Keep for the next two then reassess over the break.

Stats are deceiving when they're not interpreted correctly.

What stats? He had 10 men and was unlucky not to assist...

I assume you can't read the above article but the stats were based on the last 3 games not just the last game.

I could imagine a shift to 4 big mids and one big fwd (Costa) if it carries on.

No way Ramsey, I'm holding Siggy for the next couple of decent fixtures but planning my exit to be replaced by Walcott.

Swansea had 2 great chances in the game before the red card and he would of assisted both if the finishing was better

Do you think the 100+ who voted for you all liked yours, Doosra? 😉

        No offence intended, obviously.

I never read the teams personally, just vote for the posters I like most.
