Having previously assessed the form of forwards and midfielders across the last four Gameweeks, our third Key Performance Indicator (KPI) article of the international break casts an eye over the defenders.

For the unfamiliar, these Key Performers Indicator (KPI) tables use a series of key stats to allow our members to track a trend in player performance as a guide to their form. By tracking the frequency of certain key statistics, such as minutes per chance, and comparing them over two separate periods of time, we can ascertain patterns of improvement or decline in these areas. For those unfamiliar, we’ve rolled out a preview movie which shows just how to get the best out of the KPI tables.

          Right well if ADM is fit I would suggest just Schneiderlin to Boyd to free up cash and roll over the other ft. Pelle is a good player to have this gw and Costa teetering on 4 yellow cards. Wouldn't want to be selling ADM either.

      It really depends on how well they would rotate with your other ubers,
      Dummet, Hutton (fit), Yun, Duff, all solid options, but it really depends on who your defenders are IMO

    Managed to come out of the international week with minimal flags compared (Baines and Di Maria) compared to some people.

      Yes! I know the feeling. Watching other teams fall apart feels like a war scene where my squad is a defiant, nationally symbolic building surrounded by burning, blitzed, crumbling structures.

    I am very much an advocate of the "transfer early" strategy this season based mainly upon the principle that actually not that many injuries occur mid-gameweek, so it's best to ride your luck and grab the price rises.

    This gameweek seems to be proving me wrong.

    Apart from Baines, however, I seem to have escaped the wrath of the injury demons so far this week (although I heard rumours that Guzan is out?)

    Who thinks they have the most "yellow i's" by their team? I bet there is someone out there who had a full squad over the last set of matches and now has nobody available!

      I personally mooted a -12 hit but was argued down to a -8. However, there's every chance most of the injuries will pass - wait until Friday pressers then hit panic mode.

      Fab > Haz seems to be a popular move with the latter's injury/ suspension looming. Maybe switch Mane to someone cheaper as Saints fixtures take a southern turn soon.
