Game week 29 delivers a quartet of three o’clock kick offs before Man City make their way to Burnley in the evening’s Turf Moor showdown. Arsenal could make it five wins on the bounce when they host West Ham at the Emirates, whilst Tony Pulis will be looking to get one over former club Stoke as the Baggies look to bounce back from a pair of defeats to midlands rivals Villa.

Arsenal attempt to record an eighth successive home league win as they welcome London rivals West Ham United to their backyard. Olivier Giroud is the Gunners’ form man coming into this match-up, having netted in each of his last three starts. With five assists in seven outings, Mesut Ozil also looks back to his best, whilst Alexis Sanchez’ owners will be hoping for more of the same after the Chilean was amongst the goals at QPR last time out. The big news from the Gunners’ teamsheet is that both Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin have been relegated to the bench with Theo Walcott and Calum Chambers earning starts.

Leicester City search for their first win in six attempts as they play host to Hull City at the King Power Stadium. We’ll be hoping for big performances from Scout Pick Jeffrey Schlupp and Spot the Differential candidate Riyad Mahrez as the hosts embark on the first of seven home matches in their remaining 11 fixtures. Hull new boy Dame N’Doye will hope to consign Leicester to further misery at the foot of the table, having scored in all three of his starts for Steve Bruce’s outfit.

Sunderland entertain a resurgent Aston Villa side at the Stadium of Light as they strive to snap a five match winless streak. Those 2% of Fantasy mangers that picked up Jermain Defoe as a differential may call time on the 32-year-old if he fails to deliver for a fifth successive league outing. As for Villa, Tim Sherwood is able to call on Christian Benteke in today’s lineup as he recovers from a knock which saw him miss last weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final victory.

West Bromwich Albion have their work cut out as they welcome a Stoke City team that are unbeaten in their last three away trips. Saido Berahino, who’s bagged three in four starts, will need to be marked diligently by the Potters’ defence, while Victor Moses will likely carry the threat to the Baggies.

Just three Gameweeks after holding leaders Chelsea to a draw at Stamford Bridge, Burnley face a home match-up against the Blues’ fellow title-chasers Manchester City. The hosts’ top scorer Danny Ings will fancy his chances against a Sky Blues defence that’s not recorded an away clean sheet since early December. For the visitors, David Silva’s 23.9% ownership will count on the Spanish playmaker to emulate his goalscoring exploits of last week, whilst Captain Poll favourite Sergio Aguero will be looking to continue the form that has seen him serve up returns in ten of his 12 away appearances.

On another note Adrian is having wonderful game. Playing for Doos. The best half from a keeper I have seen in PL this season

    1. Thick Of It
      11 years, 7 months ago

I think Adrian is very under-rated, a very strong shot stopper and commands the box well.

    1. 7shadesofsmoke
      11 years, 7 months ago

fans went mental apparently. I like poyet but sometimes the board have to bow to supporter opinion - it's their club after all.

Poor form if they sack him at HT though

    1. Exeter Gently

one more save and he'll break even and be out of the negatives

    2. Captain Shirokov

      not much promise tbh

  14. Game of Stones

Early thoughts on this please? 😀

    Cazorla & Austin -> Siggy/Downing & Giroud (free).

    1. Heydudes13
      11 years, 7 months ago

Hmm yes. Downing... Thinking of going the same.

    2. faux_C
      11 years, 7 months ago

Cazorla is getting a rest today. It's not a reason to sell him.

      1. Game of Stones
        11 years, 7 months ago

It's to fund a move for Giroud, so it's Cazorla vs Giroud, and I think I prefer the latter atm.

    3. AgentMZK
      11 years, 7 months ago

      Keep Cazorla! Get Gru

      1. Game of Stones
        11 years, 7 months ago

Already have Sanchez as well, not going to get 3 Arsenal attackers. Giroud vs Cazorla.

this giru goal again is just a showing of how dreadful was the transfer of Giru> defoe couple gameweeks bak. has cost my team and others so many pts.

Yup. Knowing the line-ups was a curse.

  26. HonestBlatter

Nice idea to double up Sunderland defence due to Villa's bad scoring record away.

  27. Baa

  28. Lucy.
    11 years, 7 months ago

Decent save from Panti. Almost 5 😛

  29. Nomar
    11 years, 7 months ago

Any other season and Sunderland go down.

Teams like mine are so inept that we'll keep them up.

Glad I missed todays latest embarrassment. They should just relegate us now and stop us fans getting humiliated every weekend.

    1. SW6
      11 years, 7 months ago

The entire bottom 6 should be relegated this year and send the top 6 from the Championship up.

      1. Nomar
        11 years, 7 months ago

        Austin deserves better.

I hope he goes to Southampton when we go down. That would be a very good place for him to progress.
