We train our focus on the south coast for the first of Sundayβs two match-ups, as Bournemouth cross swords with Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries will draw confidence from their three-match unbeaten streak, while the Gunners have not claimed three points since Gameweek 20.
Bournemouthβs attack delivered the goods over the last four Gameweeks, ranking joint-fourth for goals (seven), joint-third for big chances (eight) and third for shots on target (19). Nonetheless, they chart fifth-bottom for attempts, joint-fifth-bottom for shots inside the box (76) and joint-fourth-bottom for big chances (14) in home matches, which paints a positive picture for those managers in possession of Arsenal defenders.
The Gunners have produced three successive blanks, despite ranking second for shots inside the box (43) and joint-top for big chances (10) over the last four Gameweeks. At the other end of the pitch, Arsenal restricted their challengers to four goals, yet conceded more shots inside the box (37) than the rest of the field. Investors in their attack will be emboldened in the knowledge that only two sides have recorded more goals on the road (21) this campaign.
