While I was hoping playing 15 dgws would make me run away and win the mini league

Spurs plus rotation will probably result in gaining absolutely nothing but having a much worse first 11 to show for it.

Well not worse, but defo need to bring back Kane, Alli and Toby, I quite fancy them to keep winning now Europa is long out of the way.

same. I had almost a 3 digit lead over 2nd place, I am down to 67 now. Plus I will have to take -8 or -12 just to get back some of the same players he has.

do people see it that the next big liverpool rotation is in gw36. two home games coming so no travel after everton, plus swansea away going to be a nothing game like bournemouth. newcastle game very significant so may dictate a strong side. speculating of couse.

Why is the Newcastle game significant for Liverpool?

in as much as it badly matters to newcastle. of course pool can put out whatever side they wish but they may show some respect to other teams by not over weakening

I don't think they will want to go into the semifinal "cold". He'll play a decent team against Newcastle and rest the big hitters in 36. Hoping Sturridge gets lots of pl minutes

Man, you guys really not happy with how things are going at the club. Don't blame you! Rid myself of Lukaku this weekend despite the extra fixtures, still have Barkley though.
After the Tottenham result tonight and with the Vardy ban likely to increase I worry about their CS potential, we will see how they do against Swansea.

Anyone who played Lukaku in UFPL: do you now have the option to sub him in?

It's allowing me to sub in Milner if I want (which I don't). I'm just trying to establish what the rule is for this, i.e. can you always sub in a player who hasn't played yet in the GW, or or do you also need to not have had them in your starting XI.

      • 12 Years
      10 years, 3 months ago

Yes, apparently it's because he didn't play. Can't bring back other Everton players who did play.

I'm just glad that even with Spurs points added, I still lead my mini league by 4 points, reduced from 28.

Now based on pure assumptions and a numbers game, my 15 to play vs their 6, should hopefully at least return the lead to 28, ideally more though.

Given Newcastle are fighting against relegation, is Wijnaldum a good differential?

Would go Mitrovic too but he doesn't start as much as he should and Defoe and Pelle are better options

Playing deeper under Rafa. I'd go Mitrovic, he makes an impact of the bench every time.

      No, Benitez has stifled Wijnaldum.

No, not even gw rank yet as far is I'm aware. I'm thinking we those of us who don't have spurs players shut probably go to sleep, or risk nightmares.

Swans not scoring much, neither are Man U or Everton. Leicester getting more defensive by the game.

Dunno, but they seem pretty good to me. Past couple weeks been tough for predictions with all the wildcards being played, though.
