Gameweek 35’s swansong finds Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion meet under lights at White Hart Lane. The former breezed past Manchester United and Stoke City in their past two matches, while the Baggies have lost four of their previous five fixtures.

Spurs’ rampaging attack ranks second for goals (11), total attempts (74), big chances (12) and shots on target (26) over their respective last four match-ups, highlighting their abundance of threat in the final third. Considering that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have chalked up a whopping 24 more shots on target than any team at home (136), the Baggies will do well to stop them scoring. On the other hand, Spurs will fancy their chances of earning a clean sheet having conceded just 13 big chances at the Lane all season.

Delving into the Baggies’ productivity away from The Hawthorns, they place second-bottom for goals (12) and sit last for attempts (140), shots inside the box (78) and shots on target (37). That being said, only three teams have recorded more clean sheets in road ties than West Brom (six), which suggests that Spurs could be in for a frustrating evening. Having posted four blank in five outings, Tony Pulis’ men are certain to bunker down in the capital.

Interesting...so if Chelsea beat Spurs, Leicester still win title regardless of Man Utd - Lei result.

    Extra motivation for Chelsea players?

I doubt the Chelsea players care. It's the fans that care about that,

That is said for the fans. A Belgian won't care any more about a London derby

I'd have to disagree. Football is an emotional sport, even for the players....

Getting one over your rivals is always extra motivation. Not the be all and end all but certainly food for thought.

Hard to know the mind of the players I suppose, so neither of us can truly say whether the players will care or not I guess.

So this was the worst week so far this season.

    1) Got in Kane, Alli and Rose for -8.
    2) Kane (C).
    3) Went out of an internal LMS because of that WBA-goal.
    4) Needed a Spurs-win to get 350 quid from bets.
    5) Had finally started to sneak towards top 10k (was 13k before this round), now nowhere near.

And to top it all off.

    6) Alli to be off for the rest of the season.

Hope Leicester win all the remaining games and that Spurs get relegated somehow.

My 3 steps to FPL success in GW35:

    Buy Rose over PVA.

    Sell Sturridge for Kane.

Change (C) from Aguero to Kane.
