Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Liverpool

The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Ah well...Firmino + Tadic wasn't the right choice instead of Mahrez and Redmond.

        I took couple of hits..now thinking why not just activate WC to save those hit points and also get my team back..lol,,,I am also laughing at myself..but WTF???This is just a game and I am enjoying my laughs

      I'm going to give him a few weeks.

      I admit Lamela and Coutinho look like great cheaper options now for their respective teams, but transfers based on the opening day have never worked out well for me before!

      I feel it's probably better to wait on the Liverpool mids if you havn't got one and keep if you have any.

      Feel Sturridge coming back in next week will hog the points. Burnley won't attack and will put 11 behind the ball which Liverpool don't like.

        4-3 against Liverpool isn't even that bad considering their CB were just kids, Cazorla and Xhaka weren't fully fit yet, Ozil wasn't here, and they didn't have a striker

        Have him and really liked what I saw yesterday. Was in a very advanced position and had some great crosses. If he is actually on pens, it seems like a no brainier to me for 5.5
