Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Liverpool

The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

            Yep, I'm staying put with Firmino at the moment, but he looked second rate compared to Coutinho and Sade today. Had plenty of possession but looked a little sloppy on the ball.

              Yeah, if I owned Firmino, I certainly wouldn't waste a transfer. He has always been the most consistent out of the 3.

              It really is laughable he doesnt get more. We were literally 1-0 down almost purely down to moreno again, how many more times must this happen. He has no positional awareness and would actually be better used as a LM as opposed to LB - the fact milner has moved up the ranks above him shows how poorly Kloop rates him

        Looking at the Bournemouth -- United game today, I'm more interested in West Ham assets for GW 2 than Ibra.

        Bournemouth will ship goals and West Ham have some good players up front.

        Any price drops /rises??
        Disappointing day. Firmino & Valencia let me down.
        U have probably heard this many times but had redmond, lamela, and zlatan during the wk but went vardy,tadic, ayew Saturday. Probably best to see things out till international break and then consider my options??

          Yep, on another day, vardy & tadic would have both scored at the weekend... Although as a vardy owner i am anxiously looking at rooney at 9.0 for a FT... he looks super value at that price, a full 2.5 less than zlatan
