Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Liverpool

The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Feel's wrong sat with the team I didn't plan. I might just have to WC and put in the team I actually wanted.

    I spent the summer discussing with folk on here how Rooney would be good for pts just by being next to Ibra....and now I have Ibra instead. And similarly I wanted Bolasie but ended up with Shaqiri.

    In fact my whole team feels wrong.

    Stuck with a big decision to make early on, would appreciate any ideas. Essentially, I picked badly for GW1 and want to make 4 changes (costing me 12 pts) now - team + changes below:

        Just wonder about us I spose vs. Leicester who have something to prove at home, I can just see us really having an awful start to the season then turning it around come Autumn as it our way.

        Guess it's a bit of a toss up. Hmm maybe you're right, though. Will think about it - can also captain Firmino away vs Burnley (lololol) 🙂
