Jose Mourinho returns to the Premier League with a sun soaked Vitality Stadium providing the backdrop.

AFC Bournemouth host Mourinho and his Manchester United charges in today’s early kick-off, with Eddie Howe’s men attempting to follow Hull City’s lead and rip up the script.

Certainly today’s meeting will provide a stern test of Mourinho’s work over the summer – a tight pitch, a tight ground and a home side bristling with pace via Josh King, Callum Wilson and new signing Jordan Ibe.

But United have Zlatan Ibrahimovic; the Swede heads into the match having been handed the armband by 21% of Fantasy Premier League managers. It remains to be seen if he can keep pace with Sergio Aguero who was backed by 34% and rewarded them with a 9-point return in the day one win over Sunderland.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

You'd expect a defender to be able to pass a ball not hit it short

Ibra touches in opposition half will make for interesting reading at HT if the game stays in this pattern.

If that's the gameplan for the whole season, I think United have overpaid a bit. Just a tiny little bit.

or defend. has been pretty rusty (understandable) and he can't get forward at all.

I was thinking of this too. I say Shaw will be first choice but maybe face rotation in bigger games. Similar to the Darmian and Valencia situation at right back.

Nonsense. United all already short of pace, why would you then bench one of your quickest players.

Do you all think Martial may get game time up front this year. Surely in games United might need more pace up front

Totally happy not having Ibram. He wont last an entire prem season anyway. Have Rooney myself, have a feeling about him this season based on no particular evidence.

        Cue goal from Zlat....

          Falcao was a clown.
Avoided playing champions league or world cup at all costs. Left teams soon as they qualified and always joined big money sides who were in europa
