As we approached the new season, hopes were high that Dimitri Payet could prove irresistible for our five-man midfields in 2016/17.

Restricted to just 26 minutes over the first three Gameweeks due to injury, Payet has been sold by a massive 589,000+ so far – only Eden Hazard and Riyad Mahrez have been subject to more sales in the centre of the park.

Since returning to the West Ham first XI in Gameweek 4, though, Payet has been quick to rediscover his Fantasy form.

Impressively, the Frenchman has played a part in all five of his side’s goals over that period. Payet provided two assists against both Watford and West Brom before serving up a stunning solo effort at home to Middlesbrough last time out.

With 30 points accrued in his four starts, then, this latest article for members casts an eye over Payet’s recent displays, assessing them against last season’s numbers before checking out the stats over the last four Gameweeks relative to other midfielders.

Just logged into FPL for the first time in what feels like an absolute age. Just noticed Heaton, Baines, Sterling, Kun and Lukaku are all amber. Am I in trouble? 😐

    Bottom of last page...

    Rose or Walker?

I feel like Rose is possibly the better pick (although could well be a coin toss). Walker is more likely to go up in price sooner so does have that on his side...

    Thoughts?

On a WC and thinking ARS and TOT defenders are key..

Currently on Mustafi and Walker.. Davies could be more of a threat to backup RB whos name escapes me!!

Rose is the better option long-term I feel. Both could be subject to rotation around CL games

Please help, who would you sell?

    A) Ibra
    B) Lukaku

    1) Baines
    2) Valencia

Plan to downgrade striker to Deeney/Austin/Wilson and will upgrade defence to an Arsenal def, using next week's transfer to upgrade Puncheon to Firm/Cout

Mustafi and Walcott in for Sterling and Williams?

No pressing matters and I'm expecting Arsenal to go on a bit of a points rampage.

Aguero can be my city cover

Quite a heated debate earlier about the home nations

Reality is there is very little to separate either of the Irish teams England or Wales right now imo..

Scotland are just utter crud i'm sure even their fans won't deny that currently

Northern Ireland were the better team against them in the Euros and were very unlucky to lose 1-0.. England beat them narrowly.. like i said not a lot to separate them
