After Everton defeated West Ham 2-0 at Goodison earlier, we now turn our attentions to St Mary’s as Southampton entertain Chelsea at 4pm.

Diego Costa and Eden Hazard boast the greatest threat as the Blues look to grab a fourth successive league win.

The Spain international – who remains one yellow away from a single-match ban – has netted four goals in as many road trips, whilst Hazard has notched in each of his last four starts for club and country.

Chelsea’s recent move to 3-4-3 has harvested three straight clean sheets in the top-flight, though their hosts have been similarly resilient in front of their own fans.

The Saints have conceded just one goal in their last five home matches in all competitions and have been breached on only eight occasions over the first nine Gameweeks.

With a trip to Hull next up on their agenda, Nathan Redmond and Charlie Austin have the chance to stake a claim for our consideration, as the latter looks to net for the third successive league outing.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    A) Antonio>7.7 max
    B) Sterling>Coutinho, then A) next week
    C) Both for a hit this week
    D) Sterling>Hazard + Antonio>Hazard for a hit

Looking at Sigurdsson, Tadic, Arnautovic, Chadli and Redmond under 7.7

      D) woud be amazing. Obviously ment Redmond instead of Hazard for Antonio.

Other than the early goal, pretty good. Stung some passes together, had some meaningful possession and, are looking capable of scoring.

Can't squeeze in Sanchez without killing the balance to my squad. I think 2 out of those 3 are realistic.

I can do A. Valencia to Pieters and Walcot to Hazard or
      B. Valencia to Fuchs and Walcot to Firmino
I was thinking B but now not so sure 1.3 itb

Is Musa nailed now at Leicester? Or just a placeholder for Silmani ?
Thinking of bringing him in for Benteke as Leicester have a great run of games upcoming

    Also
    Capuoe out - who in?

    a) Redmond
    b) Gundogan ?

I think Ranieri is still moving things around at least when they are playing in the PL -- he's yet to find his strongest side.

      • 11 Years

Musa isn't nailed but he's not a direct replacement for Slimani either.

There will be rotation on the wing for Musa with Albrighton and up front with Slimani, Okazaki and Vardy. Ranieri has been open in that the front and wings will rotate due to CL.

depends on your team, if they will be your 5th mid and 3rd striker maybe but seems like it's a big sacrafice for 1 player

I'd have a midfield of Sanchez, Firmino, Coutinho and Hazard.
I could play 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 depending on fixtures.
But i really hate taking a hit, so i'd probably not do it. Although i'm starting to believe that without taking hits it's extremely difficult to turn a very mediocre season into a very good one.

There are times when it's necessary to take a hit and you need to look at it over the next few gameweeks rather than the current one

    RMT

    Pickford
    Walker, Lovren, Holebas
    Sanchez, Firmino, Coutinho, Son
    Aguero, Lukaku, Deeney

    Jakupovic, Amat, Fletcher, Kelly

    1 FT, 1.1 ITB

    A. Jakupovic --> Heaton? (Great form) Foster? (Rotates much better with Pickford)
    B. Son --> Don't know? Redmond?
    C. Deeney --> Austin
    D. Walker --> Fuchs? van Dijk? (Both have great fixtures until the end of the year)

    Thanks for any advice!
