After rolling out Part One of our analysis on the pitch time and distance travelled during the recent internationals, we now examine the remaining 10 teams ahead of Gameweek 12.

Man United

Jose Mourinho’s main concern will surround the fitness of Wayne Rooney, who withdrew from the England squad after picking up a knee injury. Reports suggest he could be fit to face Arsenal in the early kick-off on Saturday, although we’ll hope Mourinho will reveal more about his status in his pre-match press conference.

The United boss will also have been pleased to see Paul Pogba playing only 45 minutes in France’s clash against Ivory Coast on Tuesday night.

Sergio Romero – Argentina (10/11 (a) v Brazil in Belo Horizonte and 15/11 (h) v Colombia in San Juan) – 180 minutes.
David de Gea, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata – Spain (12/11 (h) v Macedonia in Granada and 15/11 (a) v England in London) – De Gea played the full match against Macedonia, but was an unused substitute in the friendly at Wembley. Herrera made his senior debut against England, coming on as a second-half substitute, playing 34 minutes. Mata was an unused substitute in the first outing and only played 45 minutes against England.
Matteo Darmian – Italy (12/11 (a) v Liechtenstein in Vaduz and 15/11 (h) v Germany in Milan) – Was an unused substitute in the first match but played the full 90 minutes in the goalless draw against Germany.
Daley Blind and Memphis Depay – Holland (09/11 (h) v Belgium in Amsterdam and 13/11 (a) v Luxembourg in Luxembourg City) – Blind played all 180 minutes, and provided an assist in the 3-1 win against Luxembourg. Depay came off the bench in both matches, playing 23 minutes against Belgium, and 45 minutes against Luxembourg, scoring twice in the 3-1 victory.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Armenia (11/11 (h) v Montenegro in Yerevan) – 90 minutes.
Paul Pogba – France (11/11 (h) v Sweden in Paris and 15/11 (h) v Ivory Coast in Lens) – Played the full match against Sweden, and scored in the 2-1 win. Only played 45 minutes in the friendly with Ivory Coast.
Jesse Lingard, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford – England (11/11 (h) v Scotland in London and 15/11 (h) v Spain in London) – Lingard was an unused substitute against Scotland, but played the full 90 minutes against Spain. Rooney played the full 90 minutes against Scotland, registering an assist in the 3-0 win, before withdrawing from the squad due to a knee injury. Rashford was limited to just 23 minutes off the bench against Spain.

Middlesbrough

Aitor Karanka will hope that both Gaston Ramirez and Cristhian Stuani arrive back from their long flight from South America with no issues, and with ‘Boro hosting Chelsea on Sunday, that extra day of preparation should increase their chances of featuring from the start, if selected, against the Blues.

Brad Guzan – United States (12/11 (h) v Mexico in Columbus and 16/11 (a) v Costa Rica in San Jose) – Played 50 minutes as a substitute against Mexico, and the full 90 minutes in the 4-0 defeat to Costa Rica.
Calum Chambers – England U21 (10/11 (h) v Italy in Southampton and 14/11 (a) v France in Bondoufle) – Played the full 90 minutes in the 3-2 win over Italy, providing the assist for Jack Stephens’ late winner. Was an unused substitute for the 3-2 defeat to France.
Marten de Roon – Holland (09/11 (h) v Belgium in Amsterdam and 13/11 (a) v Luxembourg in Luxembourg City) – Played two minutes as a substitute against Luxembourg.
Gaston Ramirez and Cristhian Stuani – Uruguay (10/11 (h) v Ecuador in Montevideo and 15/11 (a) v Chile in Santiago) – Ramirez came on as a substitute in both matches, playing 28 minutes against Ecuador, and 25 minutes in the 3-1 defeat to Chile. Stuani played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Ecuador but was an unused substitute against Chile.
Viktor Fischer – Denmark (11/11 (h) v Kazakhstan in Copenhagen and 15/11 (a) v Czech Republic in Mladá Boleslav) – Was an unused substitute against Kazakhstan, before playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic.

Southampton

Dusan Tadic may have broken his nose during Serbia’s 1-1 draw with Wales, but the midfielder appears to have a good chance of being available to face Liverpool on Saturday, even if it means he has to wear a protective mask.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will also need to be checked after picking up a knock on international duty with Denmark, while Ryan Bertrand failed to play any part in England’s matches due to a knock.

Maya Yoshida – Japan (11/11 (h) v Oman in Kashima and 15/11 (h) v Saudi Arabia in Saitama) – Played 78 minutes in the first match, and the full 90 minutes in the second.
Jose Fonte – Portugal (13/11 (h) v Latvia in São João da Venda) – 90 minutes.
Ryan Bertrand – England (11/11 (h) v Scotland in London and 15/11 (h) v Spain in London) – Failed to play a part in either match.

James Ward-Prowse and Nathan Redmond – England U21 (10/11 (h) v Italy in Southampton and 14/11 (a) v France in Bondoufle) – Ward-Prowse played the full match against Italy and 25 minutes as a substitute against France. Redmond also played the full 90 minutes in the first match, but only nine minutes as a substitute in the second.
Sofiane Boufal – Morocco (12/11 (h) v Ivory Coast in Marrakech and 15/11 (h) v Togo in Marrakech) – Played 86 minutes before being substituted against Ivory Coast, and was then named among the substitutes for the match with Togo.
Dusan Tadic – Serbia (12/11 (a) v Wales in Cardiff and 15/11 (a) v Ukraine in Kharkiv) – Played the full 90 minutes in Wales, despite appearing to suffer a broken nose. Subsequently, he sat out the 2-0 friendly defeat to Ukraine.

Stoke City

Glenn Whelan will need to be assessed after picking up a hamstring problem for the Republic of Ireland, with the midfielder now in a race against time to prove his fitness for Saturday’s home clash with Bournemouth.

Mark Hughes won’t have been best pleased to see Marko Arnautovic complete the full 90 minutes in Austria’s friendly against Slovakia on Tuesday night, though, having already played the full match against the Republic of Ireland three days earlier.

Bruno Martins Indi – Holland (09/11 (h) v Belgium in Amsterdam and 13/11 (a) v Luxembourg in Luxembourg City) – Was an unused substitute in both matches.

Wilfried Bony – Ivory Coast (12/11 (a) v Morocco in Marrakech and 15/11 (a) v France in Lens) – Limited to just 17 minutes off the bench in the goalless draw with Morocco, and then didn’t feature in the friendly against France. There are unconfirmed reports of an ankle problem.

Sunderland

Lamine Kone could be slightly fatigued having played 180 minutes for Ivory Coast, with the second match coming on Tuesday night. Duncan Watmore and Wahbi Khazri both found the net over the break to strengthen their bids for the roles out wide, although Khazri was dismissed against Mauritania for violent conduct which may impact on David Moyes’ selection.

Jordan Pickford – England (11/11 (h) v Scotland in London and 15/11 (h) v Spain in London) – Was an unused substitute in both matches.
John O’Shea – Republic of Ireland (12/11 (a) v Austria in Vienna) – Was an unused substitute.

Duncan Watmore – England U21 (10/11 (h) v Italy in Southampton and 14/11 (a) v France in Bondoufle) – Played 18 minutes as a substitute in the first match, and the full 90 minutes against France, scoring in the 3-2 defeat.

Swansea City

Sung-Yeung Ki faces limited preparation time having played for South Korea on Tuesday, but given he sat out their first match, he should be okay to face Everton on Saturday. Defender Alfie Mawson made his debut for England U21s against France, while Bob Bradley will have been happy to see Gylfi Sigurdsson sit out Iceland’s friendly with Malta on Tuesday.

Lukasz Fabianski – Poland (11/11 (a) v Romania in Bucharest and 14/11 (h) v Slovenia in Wroclaw) – Played all 90 minutes against Romania, but was an unused substitute in the friendly against Slovenia.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – Iceland (12/11 (a) v Croatia in Zagreb and 15/11 (a) v Malta in Ta’Qali) – Played the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 defeat to Croatia, but sat out the friendly with Malta.

Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino will be concerned over the fitness of Hugo Lloris and Christian Eriksen, with the goalkeeper picking up a knock while away with France, while Eriksen has suffered a hip injury.

Vincent Janssen suffered concussion while playing for Holland, and is also a doubt for Saturday’s home encounter against West Ham. Harry Kane was released from the England squad to work on his fitness, though, and should be fine to lead the line for Spurs this weekend.

There are also social media reports that Danny Rose continues to be troubled by a foot problem following his withdrawal late on for England against Spain.

Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko – France (11/11 (h) v Sweden in Paris and 15/11 (h) v Ivory Coast in Lens) – Lloris played the full 90 minutes against Sweden, but didn’t feature against Ivory Coast due to a slight knock. Rose started both matches, playing 90 minutes against Scotland, where he also provided an assist, before playing 79 minutes in the 2-2 draw with Spain. Dier played all 180 minutes, while Kane was an unused substitute against Scotland, before being released from the squad to work on his fitness with Tottenham.
Harry Winks – England U21 (10/11 (h) v Italy in Southampton and 14/11 (a) v France in Bondoufle) – Was an unused substitute against Italy, but played 65 minutes in the 3-2 defeat to France.
Son Heung-min – South Korea (11/11 (h) v Canada in Cheonan and 15/11 (h) v Uzbekistan in Seoul) – Didn’t feature in the 2-0 friendly victory against Canada, but played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Uzbekistan.

Vincent Janssen – Holland (09/11 (h) v Belgium in Amsterdam and 13/11 (a) v Luxembourg in Luxembourg City) – Started against Belgium, but was forced off after just 27 minutes due to concussion.

Watford

Christian Kabasele will need to be assessed after picking up a knock while on international duty for Belgium. Watford’s African contingent should have arrived back in England at the start of the week, increasing their chances of being fit to start against Leicester City on Saturday.

Christian Kabasele – Belgium (09/11 (a) v Holland in Amsterdam and 13/11 (h) v Estonia in Brussels) – Played all 90 minutes in the friendly against Holland but didn’t feature against Estonia due to a knock.

Adlene Guedioura – Algeria (12/11 (a) v Nigeria in Uyo) – Was an unused substitute.
Nordin Amrabat – Morocco (12/11 (h) v Ivory Coast in Marrakech and 15/11 (h) v Togo in Marrakech) – Played the full 90 minutes against Ivory Coast, before being named among the substitutes against Togo.
Odion Ighalo – Nigeria (12/11 (h) v Algeria in Uyo) – Was an unused substitute.

West Bromwich Albion

James McClean scored Republic of Ireland’s winner over Austria but was forced off with a recurrence of an ongoing back problem and will need to be assessed ahead of Monday’s match with Burnley.

Salomon Rondon didn’t link up with the Venezuela squad due to a hamstring injury and was a doubt for the clash against the Clarets but has since been declared available by Tony Pulis in Thursday’s press conference.

Hal Robson-Kanu – Wales (12/11 (h) v Serbia in Cardiff) – Played 68 minutes and set up Gareth Bale’s goal in the 1-1 draw.

West Ham United

Slaven Bilic will have been happy to see Andre Ayew get 90 minutes under his belt as he looks to increase his match sharpness, but he would have preferred Dimitri Payet to have seen a bit less action while representing France.

Winston Reid failed to link up with the New Zealand squad due to a hamstring problem and remains a slight doubt for Saturday’s trip to Spurs.

Darren Randolph – Republic of Ireland (12/11 (a) v Austria in Vienna) – 90 minutes.

    Wenger on Sanchez:

"I haven’t heard a lot [about his fitness] because we were in doubt 24 hours before the game against Uruguay. We didn’t know if he’d play or not. In the end they decided to play him. He texted us to tell us he’s in good shape after the game. He came off after 84 minutes and now we have to wait. I see him tomorrow [Friday] morning and then I will see if he can be involved in the squad or not. What I will consider is the risk of injury because he played while recovering from a hamstring injury. I’ll consider the way he feels as well. On that front you depend on the honesty of the player, how they feel and how they recover."

"You have to trust the medical people from Chile. I completely understand that Alexis wanted to play in qualifiers - they’re not friendlies. Chile are not in a fantastic position to qualify for the World Cup and I understand that Alexis is keen to play for his country in such an important game. After that, [for us] it’s a difficult period in November because it’s the first time when some of the players have played many games. Most of the time it’s a decisive period in the Champions League because it’s game No 5 and, for most of the clubs it’s a very important time in the Champions League. In the Premier League, the first decisive games are also coming up so you have to pay a price. We lost important players in November for long periods last year."

          G2G?

          Pickford
          Alonso Rose Williams
          Hazard Firm Cout Gundogan Allen
          Kun Lukaku

          Heaton Fuchs Stuani Love

1: Should I play Heaton over Pickford?
2: Should I play Fuchs over anyone (Watford scored only 3 goals in the last 4 games)?

Should I take a -4 hit for transferring Rashford out --> Vokes in, or count on Lallana to play as Rashford is my first player on the bench?...
          I'd appreciate some help 🙂

I would not take a -4 to get Vokes in. You'll only be trying to get rid of him like you are Rashford in a couple of weeks. Hope Lala plays and Rash 1st on bench.

Right gents please help sort out this shambolic fist fight out:

          Foster - Heaton
          Vertonghen - Clyne - Evans - Kone - Amat
          Sanchez - Sterling - Firmino - Allen - Capoue
          Aguero - Costa* - Defoe

          2 x FT's, 0.0m ITB

Can't waste a FT when I have so many issues 😆

Kone @ 4.4m doesn't help, otherwise I'd swap him out and save the other FT....

Looks easy to me. Sterling has to become Coutinho. For this you can downgrade Costa to Lukaku (or Austin then upgrade Allen later). Or downgrade Vert/Clyne to cheaper defender like Brunt and go triple WBA!

Might as well keep Kone for the Hull game.

Wait on Costa news, that could make things easier, if he's injured and has a suspension looming downgrading him to Lukaku, or Austin would allow you to upgrade Sterling, to Coutinho, or Hazard?

Back three of Vertonghen, Evans, and Kone, isn't that bad for this weekend. I'd want Clyne out personally.

yeah i know. he'd rather cut his nose off to spite his face etc etc.. but with a character like Depay, if you make him unhappy, and keep him against his will, he can definitely cause (more) problems in the dressing room.

Is it worth - 4 for either of these transfers this week? If so which one:

          A) Capoue > Snodgrass
          B) Stanislas > Sondgrass (leaves me with .6 less ITB than A)
          C) Sterling > Firminio

Simultaneously sideways and backwards. Clyne and Capoue are easy downgrades, or Sanchez if you're feeling fruity.

Would it be worth downgrading Koscielny and Heaton to bring in Sanchez?

Already have Hazard, Firmino, Coutinho, Aguero and Lukaku?

          Thanks?

Really depending who you're downgrading them to, and who you're upgrading Sanchez from.

Upgrading Gundogan for Sanchez leaving me 8 million for a new defender and keeper. Already have Pickford, Holebas, Kingsley and Amat.

Then I would advise against it.

You'd need Jaku, who is no longer a starter, and Pickford will be competing with Mannone again very soon.

Kingsley and Amat are not certain starter either, and there are no other 4.0m defenders playing either.

So you could soon be down to 2 starting players from a back 7.

Thanks. Looks like obliterating the defence is not worth getting Sanchez for.

Not for this weekend with all the possible injury issues (even tough he says he's fine). Leave Kosc and Heaton for this week at least.

No on all sorts of levels, most notably that its almost the exact opposite of where I'm going with my team.

          front 8
          Sanchez coutinho firmino gundogan allen
          aguero lukaku austin
          A) sanchez out and hazard in ( this gameweek only and next gameweek get sanchez again)
          B) allen out chadli or phillips in and bench austin or gundogan
          C) save free transfer
          D) other suggestion

Feelin' well rested after this ITL break and ready for the weekend..

Lallana and Sanchez my main concerns, but think I may save a FT with Lovren and Capoue decent-ish replacements. Although I think Sanchez will be fine to start.

Judging by the panic I'm seeing on here, saving a FT is a luxury others can not afford!

Oh right, might be onto something Sterling & Clyne > Coutinho & 4.9m def.

          Any ideas for 4.9m def?

          Good option for double transfer?

West Brom defender probably the pick of the bunch. Toughest part is choosing the right one.

Brunt is your man but beware, a lot of people seem to think Coutinho may be rested. (I'm not one of them btw)
