      Walker's final ball leaves a lot to be desired. Especially at the premium he costs and taking up a valuable City slot.

      Yeah, with the wingers' prices up and Mahrez in the fold it makes a lot of sense to me. One of the 5.5 center backs like Stones could be interesting too if a clear pecking order emerges.

      Damn it, Garg, just when I'd thought I'd settled 🙂

      I think Walker's ahead of Ederson because although Ederson's obviously cheaper, Walker has more capital to draw from and a defender transfer is far more enticing than a goalkeeper one.*

      Plus it would be more secure than gambling on mids/forwards, could seek attacking points from other teams and be secure with a top clean sheet count and attacking potential.

      It's an out of the box tactic but a strong one IMO.

      Why is Siggy safe? I could see Siggy being benched. He is good on set pieces and crossing, but he isn't the quickest. Could see a front 4 of Bernard, Walcott, Richarlison and Tosun.

      Anyone starting really. You have 4 recent options. I wouldn't hesitate to go for 4m Bednarek or Peltier, if you wany to play 3 oraz occasionally 4 on the back.

      1) PvA - Most likely for attacking returns. Best 5.5m DEF IMO.
      2) Sakho - BAP King. Best 5.0m DEF IMO.
      3) AWB - Value enabler with CS potential. Best 4.0m DEF IMO.
      4) Tomkins - Value with the odd goal here and there. Best 4.5m DEF IMO.
      5) Schlupp - OOP potential but likely to slot in wherever required, not nailed.

    Considering pre-season and last Fulham friendly - is it reasonable to play Kamara as one week punt ahead of Wan-Bissaka?

    A tad disappointing that Butland is Chelsea's target to replace Courtois, even if it makes perfect sense. Much more likely to get him on the cheap from Stoke, than Pickford at Everton or Schmeichel at Leicester. That being said, being this close to the transfer deadline will allow Stoke to force the price up massively...

    Pity, was looking forward to a £5.0m starting Chelsea keeper!
