It is a short but important week coming up for Fantasy Premier League managers.

There are some big decisions to be made ahead of Gameweek 3 as some prepare to spend their two free transfers, others consider the Wildcard and that’s before we even get on to the captaincy.

So we’ve put together another panel of fine FPL minds to help you with any dilemmas.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Simon March – Former FPL champion who won the title in 2014/15 and has provided excellent advice ever since.

Always Cheating – The USA’s number one FPL podcast duo comprising of Josh and Brandon.

Gregor – Long-time Fantasy Football Scout moderator.

Doosra – Fantasy Football Scout user with some rather popular custom tables.

Kean > Pukki -4 me thinks.

Read something suggesting Silva is prepared to wait a while before starting Kean every game.

Marco Silva says Moise Kean cannot suddenly be expected to become a starter for Everton after spending most of last season on the bench at Juventus.
The 19-year-old summer signing has made two appearances as a substitute so far and Silva is not minded to change his approach with the £25m recruit.
Kean was in Juve's squad for Serie A games 32 times last season but only started five matches and got just eight games from the bench.

Silva says the teenager needs to be given a gradual introduction to life in the Premier League and to be given more feedback than other players as he continues to learn the craft of being a frontman.
“The Premier League is Premier League even if they have quality when they come here,” Silva said.
“J-P (Gbamin) is 23-year-old and he had to adapt fast to the pace, the intensity, he has to think faster in the Premier League to perform better every single match.

“About Moise Kean, it is completely different. You are talking about a really young player and we have to give, everytime, feedback to him, information to him because he has to learn as fast as he can but you are talking about a young football player.

“Look at last season, he only played five matches from the start and so normally his game is to come in and not start football matches so we have to give time to him to learn as fast as he can because he can help the team in specific moments of the game but it is up to us to work with him.”

    Any experts out there?

    Currently have
    Pope, Heaton
    AWB, Digne, VVD, Lundstrum, Kelly
    McGinn, Mane, Martial, Salah, Buendia
    Kane, Pukki, Greenwood

Am considering De Bruyne & Sterling in.

    A) Would you prefer them?
    B) Who would you take out?

Mane or Salah out for Sterling, 100%

KDB is a nice to have but you have to downgrade your defence and replace Martial who is playing up front.

Depends on what the extra 1m does for you elsewhere

But given Liverpool's less reliable defence, 6.5 for VVD is probably overpriced even with his goal threat

Is it worth downgrading Martial (bought at 7.5m) to Mount (likely to rise to 6.1m) to improve this 3-5-2 defense:

    KWP - AWB - Soyuncu - Lundstrom - Kelly

    After much tinkering in wc:

    Adrian* (Pope)
    TAA Digne AWB Rose* (Lundstram)
    Sterling KDB Martial Son (Cantwell)
    Rashford Pukki (4.5)

Not set on rose, may get Zinchenko. Will confirm Son on team news later this week.

Obvious omission is no Liverpool attack but over next 3-4 weeks happy to gamble on that.

It’s different, which is no bad thing. Martial + Rashford seems weird to me, it’s different to KDB + Sterling as you’ll expect assists from KDB and goals from Sterling but with your Man U picks you’ll be hunting goals from both? I think you can drop one and bring in pool attack.

I’d love to suggest Wesley as an owner, but I’m afraid there’s no way I can do that so far.
He’s definitely up for the chop, unless he does something in the next couple of GWs...

Liverpool is playing them in 3 weeks. Spurs is playing them now. City has great fixtures and have been obliterating teams. KDB and martial are on fire. And have a premium back line and don’t want to wc.

So hard to decide what 2 premiums to go with

    Bottomed, sorry for repost

    Ryan
    TAA VVD Digne Zinchenko
    Salah Sterling Fraser Perez
    Wilson Jota

    Button Dendoncker Greenwood Rico

    2 FT + 0.5itb, Fraser + Wilson -> Martial + Kean (?)
or go ballsier and do TAA + Fraser + Wilson -> Lundstram + Martial + Kane for a -4?

Would love to hear your thoughts

Better option out of these on wildcard?

    A) VVD & Laporte
    B) TAA & Walker/Zinchenko

Ger the most nailed City def or Pool's most attacking def?

    Cheers! 🙂
