As Fantasy Premier League managers search for the best players and best combination of assets for Gameweek 1 of the 2020/21 season, we have collected our Team Reveals all in one place.

The clock is ticking down and everyone in the FPL community is desperate for some answers. Thankfully we have them in abundance.

Fantasy Football Scout will be running exclusive weekly Team Reveals on the site throughout the season (which you can ACCESS HERE), but as it’s the last day before the Gameweek 1 deadline we are publishing a bumper edition.

We wanted to do something special, by sharing insights from a whole team of leading managers together in one place. Welcome to the best Gameweek 1 Team Reveals…

1. Lateriser12

Three-time top 200 finisher and India’s reigning champion, Lateriser12 is going without Salah, but how has he spread the funds? Premium Members can find out!

2. Simon March

Former FPL winner and four-time top 7k finisher Simon March is also going without Salah. Premium Members can find out why!

3. Darren Wiles

Currently sat third in the FFS Career Hall of Fame, Darren Wiles is going light up-front this season, but which mid-price forwards have taken his fancy?

4. Az

Co-host of the Scoutcast and FPL Black Box, Az has gone for a 4-3-3 formation in light of Blank Gameweek 1’s awkward nature.

5. Andy

With six top 20k finishes to his name, Andy Mears, our video manager, is eyeing up a Chelsea double-up for the start of 2020/21.

6. Zophar666

Recorded before Ziyech’s pre-season injury, this team reveal video from a seven-time top 10k finisher reveals a Chelsea double-up combined with lavish spending elsewhere.

7. Gianni Butticè

Author of Fantasy Premier League: Unlocking the Secrets to a Top 1% Finish, Gianni is going for the bold approach of a triple-up on Arsenal this season.

8. Karam

Karam has gone for the rather bold approach of tripling-up on Liverpool… in defence!

9. Sam Bonfeld

Fresh from a 3k-finish in 2019/20, Sam has somehow managed to get FOUR players priced £10.5m or higher into her team.

10. David Munday

Fantasy Football Scout editor David is toying with the inclusion of Harry Kane this season.

11. Neale Rigg

Fantasy Football Scout’s deputy editor Neale has considered going with a 4-4-2 formation to accommodate investment in Manchester United from the start.

12. Stephen Harrap

Meanwhile, the second-placed FFS Career Hall of Famer, Stephen Harrap has opted for a decidedly puzzling line-up (see what we did there?), choosing to semi-reveal his intended starting squad in cryptic crossword style.
The first person to correctly identify the squad in the comments will earn a Premium Membership (and our eternal admiration!)

GKs:

DJ could start a really hollow thought, and not finish, to get into him. (8)

He’s that cute! (6)

Defenders:

Is that the news of his arrival I hear? (6)

Thanks to Algeria’s opening man. (3)

He’s got the fish despite not ever angling. (7)

A spider’s home brew could be missing him? (8)

Sounds like he’s not going to pass, but I won’t give him an F! (6)

Midfielders:

He has, alas, a broken heart. (5)

He’s part of the direction to a religious king. (6)

Own a stats language on the top of zooming him. (7)

Two snakes, beginning outside, are around me, man. (8)

He likes a bite out of a sandwich between his two apples. (4)

Strikers:

He is a clown, or mistaken with a grand premier. (5)

They say he needs plates to go from left to wright. (6)

He performs headlessly; a cat painting half a funeral. (4-2-7)

Would you go Ings & Davis or DCL & Adams?

Looking at getting in united players, Ings easy to upgrade to Martial. With the 2nd lot I'd have to switch out Salah for Bruno as I want to keep a Chelsea 4.5.

      This is a great question

I’m on the Ings routes currently for reasons stated

      I'd go Ings

Potentially downgrading him to this year's Ings and then havj g the cash to upgrade Davis is better than the other way round

Another options is Ings to Martial or Ings to a cheap striker and upgrade elswhere (leave Davis)

I'm so torn by Werner. On one hand I would rather wait and see how he adapts in the team and how he plays and see his stats from first couple of GWs.He will probably be substituted around 70 minute too. Besides I think the team looks much better overall without him. On the other hand 50% ownership!? If he goes crazy at the start I will be more or less screwed...

I'm leaning towards Vardy. If after the first two Werner is delivering, then easy switch. If Werner does bad first two games then he will plummet in price with such a high ownership.

But who knows - its scary to miss out if he does deliver

      RMT please

      Ramsdale – Steer
      TAA – Shaw – Vinagre – Justin – KWP
Auba – Salah – St Max – Soucek – Gordon
      Kane – Werner – Adams

Auba and Saka become most probably Rash and Harvertz after 2 weeks
      Later Kane becomes Aguero

Well that's breaks down to roughly 4.5 per player.
Walker-Pieters (4.5) Southampton should be solid at the back
Taylor (4.5) Burnley should be solid from gw2 onwards

If you get Mitchell in for 4.0 you can get Dedonker (5.0) usually gets a goal or two across season and starts normally

I'd go Brewster (4.5) up front (I think he will move on in future)

Below is my current team. What I just found out I can do, is Doherty > Egan, then next GW do Mitro > Martial if I want to keep Ings. Will that be too top heavy?

An additional dilemma: should I be more worried about not owning Son or Ings?

      McCarthy
      TAA - Vinagre - Doherty
      Soucek - ASM - Aubameyang - Salah
      Werner - Mitrovic - Ings
      (Button - Mitchell - Bissouma - Ayling)

        Probably yes

He'll lose deadballs to James and that will cutdown his attacking returns. A 5.0 Everton likely to be way better value

I've not had Werner in any of my drafts at all this season, instead I've had Vardy... I'm a top 10k player.

The sheer amount of people with Werner is making me think "am I mental?"

Vardy first 5: wba BUR mci WHU AVL
Werner first 5: bha LIV wba CRY SOU

Vardy won the golden boot last year, no player had a higher shot to shot on target percentage OR shot to goal percentage... Lets discuss

Should say, my thinking here is:

Werner being at 50% ownership, if he blanks vs bha and LIV, I think knees will wobble and he may well plummet in price. Footballs mental so anything could happen, but Liverpool the strongest defense last year and bha is nothing to sniff at.

Of course you can but the rest of the team will suffer so not worth it

How would you shave 0.5 off this team (can't be Son) ?

      McCarthy (Button)
      TAA, Davies, Justin, Mitchell (Taylor)
      Salah, Auba, Son, Havertz (Bissouma)

Next. I think Salah, Bruno and KdB/Sterling makes my team too unbalanced. Hence why I'm thinking Martial

I’d be more inclined to go without Salah.

        No

Fewer points perhaps but likely similar or even better value

Why suddenly now, after a month of listing after Doherty, is everyone getting cold feet? And suddenly Vinagre is going to miss out to Podence for that matter

Vinagre will feature for the next few games, then Marcal will take his spot
