No Ederson or Foden from the start for City. Not sure what to think about that. Guess Foden still isn't a safe(ish) pick for City.

Could be just the type of game, though. He's said before about the likes of Bernardo and Grealish offering "control" (we can add Kovacic to that), typically against the so-called bigger teams. And then he likes his "runners" - ie Foden - against deeper blocks, who City will face a lot of in GW1-8.

Pep will use Kovacic for the tougher games and defensive duties.

Foden could still come on and score and start on Friday evening, but yeah mins risk but we know that with Pep and Man City picks.

Don't think Levy wants to sell.
Instead of closing the deal he flew to the US.
What a nightmare to do business with that man is. Then again he managed to build a top stadium for mid table team and make people believe that Spurs actually can mix with the big boys.
Of course they can't but he tricked people into thinking that.

He’s set a reasonable £100m price and won’t accept less than that. We’ve known this for months.

Funny how it’s only ever Levy who gets these labels of “tight” and “greedy”…

FSG are greedy too. Is that okay?

And if the increased bid is true, Levy is greedy. Kane deserves to win some trophies. Not score 30 goals and finish 8th.

Stupid logic - Kane “deserves” to win trophies when he wins them. Dropping stinkers in knockout games doesn’t help his cause.

It’s not stupid logic clown, Kane has been in the first team at Spurs for 9 years and they’ve won nothing with 3 top managers, that’s not going to change! He can’t carry them every game

So how does that mean he “deserves” trophies? He’s got a chance to win guaranteed silverware at Bayern and he’s hardly going on strike is he.

World class players win things. A player as good as Kane not winning a trophy by now is crazy. Ask anyone who’s not a Spurs fan, they say the same thing.

I believe that teams who actually win trophies deserve to win them, not just people who score loads of goals except on the occasion where it matters.

Jeez.. again oblivious to the fact Kane is the only world class player in that Spurs team!

Henry didn’t play well in most finals but otherwise was an absolute beast and the best player the PL has ever seen.

                        Henry also won stuff.

Yes and as elite as he was, even he would not have won anything if his teammates were all total crap

Yeah that team with Son, Eriksen, Alli, Vertonghen, Dembele, Wanyama, Walker, Lloris, Alderweireld was garbage!

Imagine he went to Bayern and won nothing. Spurs win the skidmark cup three times.

I think he's good at his job. He doesn't take crap from players or agents, he stands up for his club, he got the stadium built on time and on budget.

If there's a clown, it's brother Charlie who never thought to include a release clause in the contract.

He got Kane a massive contract and made him the club top earner in 2018 - around that time he’d had loads of injuries and just missed a third of the season.

If it is 4-2-3-1 then that Ødegaard central position in the hole behind the guy leading the line is tempting!

      Or is it 4-3-3?

Probably 4231 with Rice and Partey playing proper CDMs

Not very tempting if it’s Havertz (or even Jesus) on the end of his through balls.
