    Pickford (Turner)
    Estu, Gabriel, Chilwell (Udogie, Baldock)
    Salah, Saka, Rashford, Mitoma, Richa
    Pedro, Haaland (Mubama)

    I've got 2FTs and 0ITB and feel a bit frozen as to what to do with this team!

    I really want Pedro out, but I'd need to lose either of Salah or Rashford too. Not super keen on either of those two out this week...

    Thoughts on a move (or two)? Thanks!

      Richa > Mbuemo/Foden almost certainly, and I’d easily let Rashford go, which I likely will be doing myself after the last game finishes.

          I'm now thinking Richa and Rash out for those two seems pretty sound.

        Cheers! Too poor to go Richa -> Foden alone sadly.

        Maybe Richa + Rash -> Foden + Mbeumo, and hope that Pedro plays?

          Yeah it’s unfortunate the Richa > Foden move can’t be done without raising funds from elsewhere.
          I’d have no probs with your suggested move though. For what it’s worth I reckon Pedro will start next game, I’ll likely be saying goodbye to him though before next GW.

      Pickford and rich out.
      Foden/Mbeumo in (gk depending on which mid you get). Areola if Foden and Johnstone if mbeumo would be my picks

    Can Alvarez haul..?

    Great pick, player etc, 2 returns in two games..

    But only half the points of leading players ....as probably needs two returns to get bonus and some spreading of points in city

      Certainly capable , but with Foden starting to fire and Haaland, he might not score big. Still, only other real option is Wissa , and I guess Jackson

          We’re two games into the season. The only ~6ish FWD with materially more points than Alvarez is Wissa. Alvarez now essentially nailed in most potent attacking team over last several seasons. Can be owned along with guys like Mitoma, Mbuemo, etc.

            Alvarez is competing with *all* 6.5m assets, because everone is so cheap and funds can easily be moved around

                My op didnt mention price, you brought the 6.5m into it...

                Come to think of it, Alaverez isnt only competing with all 6.5s, hes effectivley competing with all assets given the low pricing

                  I think for 6.5, playing consistently in City attack, Alvarez can be a great pick whether or not he “hauls.”

                  Evidently you disagree.

                  That’s ok.

    2 ft. Stones and Pedro out for Gusto and Alvarez good transfers?

    Leaves me this squad

    Onana (Turner)

    Estupinan Gabriel Pau (Tarkowski Gusto)

    Mitoma Rashford Odegaard Saka (Maddison)

    Jackson Alvarez Haaland

    Good moves? Also maybe a Bench boost option if Gabriel starts tomorrow?

    Thinking of running bench boost on this next week, what do you guys think?

    Areola (Turner)
    Chilwell Estupiñan Henry (Saliba, Gusto)
    Salah Saka Maddison Mbeumo Diaby
    Haaland Jackson (Pedro)

    Obviously Pedro is a risk but I figure they rotate him back in especially if Enciso is still injured. Feels like a perfect week to run bench boost with the fixtures on the bench and a very temporary 4.0 starter

            Attacking returns are going to split across a lot of players, as they always are. Job security probably safer than usual with de Bruyne injury.

          you could be right, though the difference i see this year is that the squad is tiny compared to previous years, except for in defense, the only attacking player that is likely to come on in place of someone from the weekend is Bernardo, and i think he might come on in place of Kovacic in these easier games, with a rejig of other players positions

    Not sure what to do with Rashford. Ten Hag surely has to realise that he's better on the left and Garnacho has been poor. I'm happy to give him the Forest game but I'm also tempted by Foden and Mbeumo.

    A) Keep Rashford
    B) Rashford -> Foden
    C) Rashford -> Mbeumo

    A)

    1. FPLEL
      • 11 Years

      I'm contemplating the above too.

      I'm keen to ship Rash to facilitate another move, and because he's been poor. But the potential of him on the left wing against forest is terrifying as a prospective non-owner.

    So much flip flopping about; player scores GW1, he’s great! Blanks GW2 I want rid of him for someone who blanked GW1 but scored GW2. :-/

    Happened with da silva last season; he scored a couple early on and thousands brought him in, then he didn’t score for 6 months.

      i'd agree with you but so far this season Utd just don't look like scoring many goals, they were outplayed by Wolves but squeaked a win, then the argument was the Spurs game should be more open and Rash and co could have a field day on the counter, yet they were well beaten and couldn't score

      now they play Forest next who went to the Emirates and kept Arsenal to only scoring 2, only unlocked by a bit of magic from Martinelli and a great goal by Saka, Utd might win 4-0 but i don't see it, where the likes of Arsenal, City, Chelsea, even Spurs could genuinely score a hatfull next weekend, and all have mids who can outscore the Utd duo and cheaper too

        Completely agree. Not only are Forest no pushovers, but I see serious problems with United's system that will be fixed by ETH eventually, but not in the next match or two.
        I have 3 United attackers - the changes I need to make this week means only Garnacho will go, so Bruno and Rashford only stay and start v Forest by default. But unless they play better than I expect, they'll be gone in the coming GWs.

      Cheers mate, Arsenal double up was a mistake and will get rid when an opportunity presents and liverpool double up was originally for the Bou game alone and now cant sell diaz due to his goals 🙂

      Struggling with this.

      1. Wissa has form + decent fixture too.

      2. Jackson no form but he has to get bags of chances against Luton. If he doesn't score might as well throw in the towel.

      2. Alvarez has form + decent fixture - some rotation risk so joint 2nd perhaps

    Good day guys~

    Sanchez (Onana)
    Estupinan Saliba Chilwell (Rico, Beyer)
    Mbeumo Saka Foden Martinelli (Jota)
    Wissa Haaland Jackson

    0.6m ITB and 1 FT

    1. Should I downgrade GK to save some money?
    2. Would you upgrade Beyer to have better cover?
    3. Does anyone know how long Maddison might be out? I am thinking of keeping some of those 8mm MF to swap around e.g Martinelli to Diaz when pool has good feature or Maddison if he is back etc

    Appreciate any sharing!

    Best option here?

    A) James -> Gusto & save FT
    B) James -> 5.5 (Diaz/Akanji) & save FT
    C) James & Pedro -> Gusto & Jackson
    D) James & Pedro -> Gusto & Alvarez

    Onana
    Chilwell, Estupinan, Gabriel
    Saka, Odegaard, Rashford, Bruno, Foden
    Haaland, Pedro

    Turner, Usola, Baldock, James
    Bank 0.0m, 2FT

      Somewhere between A & B for me. I'd downgrade James to someone like Henry/Botman/Villa def, someone around the 4.5m mark.

      You don't need Alvarez with Foden and Haaland. Jackson is still a wait and see imo.

    Who is your second City attack going to be vs SHU, Alvarez or Foden?

      I've been mulling this over. If Foden, A Man U mid goes; if Alvarez either Watkins goes of I take a hit and lose Pedro. All interesting choices, but currently I'm thinking Bilva will recover and City might buy someone, so neither are nailed beyond next GW. So I'm trying to hold off until a clearer picture re Pep's Starting line-up evolves.

        Good idea.This Doku bloke seems to be popping up regularly in the rumour section for City. Can play left or right wing. I am leaning towards Alvarez, think he is pretty much nailed with KDB out.

          Doku is also said to be a potential KDB replacement, so who knows where Pep will play him?

      personally i think Foden will be the better asset but its harder to fit in a mid. i'll probably give it another week because of utd's fixtures

    Isak being overlooked? Everyone drooling over Alvarez and Jackson

    LIV bha BRE shu BUR whu CPL wol

    The fixture run is as good. Only question is if CL football will hamper Newcastle's' league form

      I was bound to bring in Isak but after the City result, main issue is the amount of munutes Isak and Wilson will be sharing. Also not clear who will start so will hold off for now.

      Given he is a rotation risk and Newcastle are happy to sit back against more attacking teams like Liverpool and Brighton I am gonna wait on him but he is definitely one I am looking to target as Newcastle's fixture gets good around GW 6/7

      There's 2 factors for me - one is impending CL, but the other is he's habitually coming off too early for Wilson.
